No worries and no need to apologise! It's just the way the cookie  crumbles!  I have no divine right to any particular names or results.  I will get my full set of 60 one day I hope but as the Doris Day song says whatever will be will be!

Yeah I had the idea of a team of Disney Actors and voice actors and Sands played in Disney's Babes In Toyland

@Gooseberry Crumble Steven Purcell - jesus, it has been years since I spoke with him. Don't get out much these days, but he's not been seen for ages even on popular nights. Who knows?

Genuinely, where do you find these people? I admire your commitment to finding uniques every year.

I'm sure in part it originates from a combination of a strange quirky mind,  passionate dedication to it as a sort of hobby  and a memory that remembers so much from certain eras. I also keep scrap notes of paper  were I write names and things  that I come across throughout the year haphazardly and keep it in my draw until December.  I often branch out in different directions from my original interest.

For example  I was watching an old episode of Prisoner Cell Block H a few years ago and there was a storyline were the prison chef went on a tv cookery show.  They used a real life celebrity chef as tv presenter  Peter Russell Clarke  and I nabbed him for my team. I have narrow niche interests that I can use to become eclectic/much more broad and wider.

Thank you for your kind words!

I saw him in a Glasgow Gay bar about  8 years ago. He didn't  look healthy and without  being indiscrete about what I observed and heard I don't think his 'approach to life' is healthy.

Bruce Babbitt
John Garamendi
Donna Shalala

Ben Cayetano
Bill Clinton
David Scott (GA-13 representative)
Frank J. Guarini
Barbara Mikulski

Subs:

Joe Biden

Not terribly confident about any of these teams but hoping it's better than last year. If McMichael could stop teasing and Woodward remembers she's dying, that'd help. Getting a bit sick of picking them.

Burrell's youth doubtless contributed to the tonnage of joker picks but may well also push her well into the Drop 40, a points bonanza, unless those meddling medics arrive with some revolutionary experimental treatment that actually works

New player here, can I join? Where do I send my spreadsheet if so?

I think the entry time is closed I am afraid, but there are pools that we have later in the year that you will be able to participate in and have fun with.  I am thinking of starting two new pools myself.  One around May and maybe one around August.. Welcome

If you are quick: Join the DeathList CorrectList 2025. The deadline is either January 10th, or if there is a hit before that time on the Main Death List 2025, this game will close.

Oldest Living State Leaders DP II (2024-?). Is open for new players.

You can soon join the Death List Cup and the Inverse Death Pool.

The Windy City Dead Pool 2025-2026 will start in May or so.

And on a more positive note you will be able to join the Inverse Dead Pool.

This involves picking 25 names from the 50 most popular picks on the Derby Dead Pool.

The twist is that you are looking for the ones that DO NOT die :D - 25 to stay alive!

Look out for that one, which will open as soon as the DDP stats are known.

Looking forward to the DeathList Cup. Perhaps this time I will not be knocked out in the first round.

Love your hits of 36 years ago @YoungWillz

I'm genuinely surprised that Bette Midler does not get mentioned more on here.

I think your teams will do well @RadGuy

@gcreptile An interesting and competitive list of names as usual

@Death Impends @msc @Commtech Sio Bibble have aa always  given me plenty of  new names to google and explore  in their teams but all impressive,  interesting and contenders.

I like your teams. A good mix of choices but I am going to have to google Peter Yarrow.  Lots of people keep mental hom on here but I must confess I don't who he is!! Certainly  can't place him. I thought he was from Mike and the Mechanics  but I believe that is wrong!

He's the Peter in Peter, Paul and Mary.

Puff The Magic Dragon?  Leaving On A Jet Plane?  etc

And thanks for your kind words. I marvel at the breadth of your teams.
