That’s normally how it works……

Patsy Cline - issue related to plane rather than Patsy herself

Buddy Holly - issue related to plane rather than Buddy himself

John Denver - issue related to plane rather than John himself

etc

etc

didn’t they all die DUE TO plane crash ? Am I missing something ?

Although it would not surprise me at all if Sir Elton had some issues with his ‘undercarriage’.

75 now. There's no way he's making it to 80.

If Elton, Ozzy or Iggy see 80, I'll shake their hand in disbelief.

By shake their hand, read: have a whisky in celebration* and go "nice one" in the comfort of my own living room with them none the wiser.

*I'd have the whisky anyway, tbh.

David Crosby was freebasing for years, arguably a worse druggie than any of those three - especially that simpering amateur from Pinner.

Crosby is 81 in August

His current wig is something to behold, possibly even more ridiculous than Frankie Howerd’s in his pomp. Other than that he looks well in a bbc interview about his upcoming Glasto headline appearance. His autobiography definitely made me warm to him, if not his music, the appeal of which continues to pass me by.

Did a great show at Glastonbury just now but he isn't walking very well.

You would think that a wealthy singer like Elton could afford to use Autotune for concerts. He sounded offkey on several songs like Frank Sinatra before his final retirement.

His guests, apart from the Kiki Dee stand-in, were awful. Thankfully, we were not subjected to a Hey Jude duet with Macca who, mercifully, remained in his seat.

Not sure you want to listen to autotune When you pay for a concert, it doesn’t have anything to do with wealthiness

It does when you are paying top dollar at Glastonbury to watch tuneless geriatrics beef up their pension funds.

If you want to listen to a plain Elton John, then listen to his albums. The goal of a concert is also to see someone making mistakes.

Obviously a fan of Les Dawson's piano playing!

The goal of a concert should be to entertain the fans who have paid high prices to see it.
