There's a user in IMDB called jaypay111, who constantly notifies when a classical actor/actress dies, regardless of whether it's a famous one or a total unknown. How does he keep up ever single day? Anyway, it's very useful to keep track of his updates every now and then. :)

Nice link that. They really are dedicated to the cause aren't they .

Yeah, but some people just don't appreciate the "good work" he's doing, lol. Like this funny rant that some other user did: http://www.imdb.com/...hread/215636436

This is to inform the Deathlist. com site that here in the US we have the deathlistUSA which was initiated in 2006. The list was originally founded due to the axiom "death comes in 3" and contained names of celebrities of the "silver screen" from Hollywood. Since that time it has grown to include television stars, sports starts and even some politicians. We are proud to report a 10% death watch rate for 2014 in that we had 23 members "knocked off" our list ( no pun intended) out 230. We would be happy to share the US deathlist for those commentors who are interested on this website. Sincerely Toni, CEO of DeathlistUSA.com

It looks like the blog has died. :-(Pity.

I got a FB group I created "celebrity death pool rumors and updates" but I do all the posting cuz I got lazy fuck friends lol. It's a public page if you want to see what's up. By all means join and post things.

The usually-annoying US website Cracked has this decent list of "everyday" items that cause more death and injury than you think. Although some of them aren't that everyday for many people (icicles for instance). Number 2 is utter shit though.

No it ain't.

Quote: "Subsequent engineering inspection detected that the captain's pitot probe was obstructed, the probe was removed from the aircraft and sent for further analysis. The manufacturer found that the probe had been almost completely blocked by a wasp nest composed of sand and mud consistent with nests of mud-dauber wasps".

Re number 7 - manholes; they can be quite scary. :D

From memory, there was a surprising amount of survivors from neckshots in WW2 , and a damn sight higher % in self inflicted head shots since.

The science behind Taylor Swift's call for more cancer screenings:

http://www.vox.com/2015/4/9/8377909/taylor-swift-cancer

It highlights the problem of "overdiagnosis": cancer that appears more deadly than it is.

Or as we here like to call it, Wilko-Valerie Syndrome.

Will you die in the next 5 years?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-3109547/Will-die-five-years-simple-online-test-determine-chances-survival.html

Edit: Boo, it's only for UK residents between 40 and 70.

And this is the direct link.

5 year dying % = 8%

'Ubble' age, equivalent to 65. Lol.

Mine was 32 which is ridiculous as I'm 41, 6 stone overweight, binge drinker, highly stressed and previous smoker. I'd put me on your list if I were you.
