Goddamn I loved Kraftwerk and The Stranglers. I had a Kraftwerk LP I ‘obtained’ from the radio station I worked at, transferred to cassette (Yh we talkin 1984). Album destroyed in a flood, cassette missing/long gone. I can not find a copy of this album at all - like it never existed. Was early days when just Ralf + Florian. Prolly never figure the mystery out. RIP. The band's three pre-Autobahn albums have never been issued on CD and go pretty much unacknowledged. They aren't much like the A-material - apparently the second one doesn't have any synths on. I have fond memories of my brother picking me up from Sunday School with “Holy Water” blaring on the car stereo and other parents in the parking lot giving us sideways looks. I liked his singing though, even if he was always going to suffer compared to Paul Rodgers. RIP.

Miracle Aligner 249 Posted May 28, 2020 I recently had a strong premonition we're going to get a massive pop star death in the next 14 days, likely from Covid but possibly undisclosed cancer. In the league of a Michael Jackson, David Bowie. Prince or Aretha Franklin or Whitney Houston and in there 50s or 60s.
