gcreptile 10,963 Posted June 5, 2017 RIP.... could be expected. It could be expected so much, that people got used to expecting it, if that makes sense.
RadGuy 1,614 Posted June 5, 2017 I was right on the next death poll for the first time ever (other than guessing "none" on 13th death of 2016, which wasn't hard).

Handrejka 1,903 Posted June 5, 2017 Am I the only person who couldn't stand Wallace and Gromit, no slight on Sallis who I thought was the best thing about Last of the Summer Wine and whom I enjoyed in all those ITC shows he used to turn up in, but I'd rather be force fed a bit shit pie that watch any of that Nick Park crap.
msc 18,436 Posted June 5, 2017 Well, it is a kids show, Handrejka, so depends when you first saw it? Also, not everyone need like the same stuff. I hear some poor souls don't like Dr Who...

CoffinLodger 1,248 Posted June 5, 2017 I remember watching Last of the Summer Wine in the 1970s on my black and white portable tv in my bedroom , with primary school the next day.I am so old, and so many of my childhood memories are being stripped away !God bless you Peter for so many wonderful tv memories ! Clegg, Compo and Foggy, I hope ur rambling through the hills of heaven ! My gran used to come to our house every sunday for tea, and we all sat and watched Summer WINE afterward. My gran thought it was hilarious !
Exu 250 Posted June 5, 2017 I grew up with Last of the Summer Wine and every episode seemed to have Sallis and his cohorts careering down a hill in tin bath or something similar. Harmless fun and guaranteed to raise a giggle in my parent's house. R.I.P.
