Another way of looking at death list is how far removed are these picks from the public of 2016. For example, the likes of the Duke of Edinburgh and Bruce Forsythe may be pretty old but millions of children and people under 30 know who they are. However, some people who were once massive household names are now almost unheard of due to their longevity. Out of this year's top 50 I think a case could be made for Mitchelmore having the lowest awareness in the younger generation. To be honest you'd have to be 55 plus to have heard of him.
