maryportfuncity 10,657 Posted February 18, 2017 Michael Watson and his carer both maced/or worse and hospitalised after a failed carjack in Laandan Town. Can't believe how long ago 'that' fight was. No shit; genuinely sick. Not funny - but, on the other hand, when Lloyd Honeyghan was mugged outside the family florists shop by schoolgirls who stole flowers, that was a real laugh

Spade_Cooley 9,538 Posted March 15, 2017 Weirdly enough, I was looking at his Wikipedia article this morning out of a bored desire to compile a list of the 20 oldest lineal boxing champions still living. I only recognise one of those names and that is because he is a forum favorite.
Joey Russ 7,229 Posted March 15, 2017 I only recognize one of those names as well, but I heard of him before I found the forums due to the iconic film Raging Bull.
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted April 29, 2017 The Sun's longtime boxing correspondent Colin Hart sounded very unwell indeed when he gave his views about Anthony Joshu on Radio 4's news at 10 tonight. I like to think I'm quite good at working out who might not have long to live based on how they sound and Hart definitely sounded like he was on borrowed time. Bass 17 Posted June 15, 2017 "We raised £48,000, which is amazing and in normal life is an extremely substantial amount of money - but sadly not when you're fighting cancer on alternative treatments.” -Dean Francis' wife He is going to three continents and munching his money. But he's forgoing chemo, and is instead pursuing that foolproof "expensive natural healing in Mexico" route.

Well going for the snake oil and diamond water is not a smart route. The only reason Christie lived so long with Stage IV Lung Cancer is because he opted for traditional treatment, Bracknell has gone for alternative methods. She will maybe last 1/2 as long as Christie.

charon 4,943 Posted June 17, 2017 Listening to a bit on Christie by Bunce + McGuigan, and wee Barry says he was confused for a bit as to whether it was Errol or Herol that had died as they are both ill. Herol, as in Graham, tried to top himself a decade ago, but went to work in Asda two years ago in a bid to beat the depression when it returned. Worth a spot in monitoring lists...*he does have a just giving page but I couldn't get it to load...
