Sir Creep 7,070 Posted May 9, 2016 Newcastle Jets midfielder Bernardo Ribeiro has died of a suspected heart attack suffered while playing for Brazilian side Friburguense. The 26-year-old fell ill during a friendly match and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where it was later confirmed he had passed away. The news comes just days after Cameroon international Patrick Ekeng collapsed and passed away during a match for Dinamo Bucharest. The cause of both deaths is yet to be officially confirmed.
