Guest Guest Posted April 13, 2015 I bet any money the king of Thailand will be dead by september so that when our Queen breaks Queen Victorias record as longest serving British monarch she'll also be the longest serving current monarch !

Toast 16,141 Posted April 25, 2015 King Bhumipol went out for a short trip: http://news.thaivisa.com/thaivisa-news/thais-welcome-his-majesty-short-trip/54567/ But it only took an hour and then he returned to a hospital... "The king came to the hall to admire the beautiful view of the Chao Phraya River and many of Bangkok’s landmarks such as the Grand Palace." That sounds like he might be taking a last look/saying goodbye kind of thing.

RadGuy 1,614 Posted April 25, 2015 I'm glad to see everyone being optimistic and predicting that he will die within 3 months Hopefully, we're correct.
RadGuy 1,614 Posted April 25, 2015 Just to make it more interesting, I'll also predict that he'll be the Deathlist's 4th hit (after Martin Crowe) and my 5th (after Mary Tyler Moore).
gcreptile 10,978 Posted April 25, 2015 I didn't participate in the Martin Crowe sweepstakes because I'm not yet convinced that he'll die this year. But I do think Bhumipol's time is about to come. Let's say July 30th.
