Did anyone else think she was going to say "The Dead Pool" for her Clint Eastwood film?

Subliminal messages:

@ 9:15 Linda says to her "I'll kill you"

@ 19:10 Alexander says "Hey Bernie, you've had a stay of execution"

@ 27:25 Richard says "Fess up now Bernie, is it worth putting you in my DDP team or not, you bogtrotting skank?"

Very good point. If there was a celebrity that indulged in the Deathlist my money would be on Richard Osman.

No, no. What I meant to say that if was ever to enter DDP, he's probably come up with a decent team...

Did we know that the Nolan Sisters have cancelled their farewell tour due to 'very unforeseen circumstances' according to the Bristol Colston Hall website?

I'll be surprised if she makes it past Easter.

Sad news, always quite liked the Nolans. Plus it's the Curse Of Eurovision striking again (A Song For Europe 1979 - beaten by Black bloody Lace!)

That is disgusting , Some evil f##kers in this world.

You do know that some criminals specialise in perusing the death announcements for information, then go and burgle the homes of the deceased and chief mourners during the funeral?

We've always made sure that someone is in the house during family funerals for this reason. There's always someone who asks if there's "anything I can do", or someone who is glad of an excuse not to go.

While I wouldnt wish to put the members of this forum under the rocks alongside thieiving scum, I do feel that a degree of caution should be exercised when discussing "morality".

Im not sure that we are THAT much higher up the morality ladder when we are discussing whether this woman will or wont die and whether certain individuals will be scoring fucking points if she does!

Im sure her family and friends would be chuffed to bits about that. ;)

I'd say theres quite a big difference between the likes of us speculating about people who may die soon (which is doubtless insensitive and offensive to some) and those who go ransacking the homes of the recently deceased. What we do is ultimately of no real consequence, it may be offensive to some but nobody gets hurt at the end of the day

Sure, there is a difference, I didnt say there wasnt.

I was merely suggesting that, instead of showing our disgust at vermin who burgle peoples property when a member of that family is dying, we keep our heads down and recognise that it would be emotionally upsetting for a dying loved ones to know that people are speculating on that persons time of death and that their impending death forms part of a game.

While a third party may consider it insensitive and offensive, which doesnt matter, the people closest to her may feel the same, maybe even the person dying and, lets be honest, that DOES matter.

Sometimes its better to fly under the radar

There is no morality in burglary and there isnt much more in dead pooling, both can be deeply upsetting for the people on the end of it,right?

Anyway, Ive not picked her so i will get fook all points.

In any case, my conscience is clear. I'm simply discussing a public figure, not trespassing on their property or stealing from them

Maybe i'm just being naive i just didn't think that people could be that cruel . I like to believe people still have some amount of humanity left , but the more and more years i live the more i realize it disappeared long before i was born.

To be honest i think the deathlist is not that bad. Morally i don't think its that bad to discuss death or to just guess when someone will die. Apart from thatcher and maybe the odd one or two others for understandable reasons, I haven't really seen people come on here and cheer or hope that someone has died or will die and genuinely take pleasure out of it you know. Its quite hard to explain but my moral compass tells me the deathlist is ok along as we don't hurt anyone else or seek to contact their family members etc.

After all this is the internet everyone can be offended if they search hard enough and i'm sure some of their family members will be worried about the loss of a loved one rather than what some people do on the internet that isn't actively seeking to contact them or troll them etc

Don't forget the other group of people who ransack the homes of the recently deceased looking for valuables. - What are they called? .......

Desperately trying to patch things up since Bernie is no longer in the mood for dancing

Bernie, diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after being the runner-up in ITV’s singing contest Popstar to Operastar three years ago, is in the final stages of the disease. It has spread to her brain, liver, lungs and bones.
