RadGuy 1,614 Posted January 25, 2017 When I saw this thread updated I knew it was bad news. RIP Mary Tyler Moore. Been a fan all my life. Grew up watching your show on MeTV. Worst celebrity death since Joan Rivers for me.
JTrost1234 21 Posted January 25, 2017 There goes the perfect zero. Why did someone have to die? She wasn't even that old. I was hoping for a zero dearths this year, and now that won't happen. There's a lot of people here in their 90's and 100's, so I expect this to be a record year. I hope I'm wrong, but due to their advanced age, I don't think I'll be very lucky. Death Impends 7,957 Posted January 25, 2017 Think MTM still has more life in her than the above gimmick.

Would you like your favorite celebrity to be in misery? I certainly wouldn't. It's worse than death.

ebless 203 Posted January 25, 2017 Extremely saddened by the news even though she was on my main team list. A comedy icon of mine and brilliant in everything she appeared in. One of the few people who have reduced me to years in a film - Heartsounds I think the film was. RIP. The first proper Big Name death of 2017 I'd argue too. I would say that was Gorden Kaye or Anthony Armstrong Jones. Graham Taylor I would say, at least in a UK slant.
themaninblack 2,112 Posted January 25, 2017 I always try to think of 2 puns for a dual DL/DDP hit just in case! Actually I wonder how many times in the last few years there's been a DL hit that wasn't a DDP one...

CoffinLodger 1,248 Posted January 25, 2017 Sad news. She was a beautiful and talented woman. I would have preferred our first hit of the year to be someone else. Robert Mugabe for example
Mercarte 145 Posted January 25, 2017 TMZ reporting she's in a "grave condition" with family gathering to say goodbye. http://www.tmz.com/2017/01/25/mary-tyler-moore-grave-condition/ Well, no more condition: now we can say that she will be in grave.
