RoverAndOut 4,756 Posted November 5, 2016 An excellent analysis i'll grant you but it's still a bit of a Kismet theory. The whole purpose of the fixed term Parliament which the Tories supported was to mitigate against political opportunism.May has gone past the 'I'm a new leader so we should have an election' phase. She has to wait. Even if JC snuffs it the Labour Party rules will ensure another Corbynista get in. I'm not convinced she'll have to wait. Brexit has thrown all the rules out of the window, and the mainstream press desperately want Brexit (see today's front pages for proof) - if they think May will have a better chance of achieving it after an early election then you can guarantee the Mail and the Express and the Murdoch Press will all be in full support of the Prime Minister's 'brave decision' to gain a mandate to force through Brexit. I also share the cautionary tale about the perils of ignoring an early election, although right now I see no way she doesn't win in 2020 anyway. On the original point, this Stephen Phillips seems a decent chap on the whole, y'know, despite being a Leaver and a Tory and all that...
RoverAndOut 4,756 Posted November 5, 2016 He is not one who has been selected for this game but if any more follow suit I think we could be on course for an early election. Which might mean Rover gets a victory. Next time everyone will get 50 picks. I'm Rover and Out and I approve this message.

Cat O'Falk 3,290 Posted December 11, 2016 Coca-Cola Christmas truck visit to Leicester Last year the truck caused controversy in Leicestershire after MP Keith Vaz objected to the Coca-Cola truck coming to Highcross Leicester. Sugary drinks can be a cause of diabetes. Mr Vaz has the disease and also has a charity, Silver Star, which aims to combat diabetes and its causes. Some wag has commented: Will Keith Vaz be attending this year? Oooops wrong type of coke!
