Jeremy Corbyn is around the same age and just getting into his stride.

By the time this comes up again I expect the First Minister will have had to resign for using the police to spy on journalists....

Well, momentarily due to a phrasing cock-up. They apparently plan to try again, with the word "Glasgow" used.

At least you have the excuse of not being a native SC, many of us have grown up with these hulking dinosaurs and still have no chance of getting this right.

Damien Green, the former Tory minister, has become the latest MP to deny his involvement with the website. Apparently, his email address was signed up, with a security question listing his (correct) mother's maiden name. So either someone's gone to great lengths to frame him or...

I believe Phantom has a unique pick if he goes.

All you need to do to obtain someones mothers maiden name is search the bmd index and know there date of birth. Not exactly great lengths.

You don't even need the date of birth, just their approximate age will do, unless it's a very common name.

Alistair Carmichael is in court over his election.

The whole court should be aware of the impact of their decision on the By-election Bingo game.

I think by a fluke beyond all probability the entire jury is composed of members of the Fort William first team squad, who know, love and respect us all.

Three players may be looking forward to some points next May if Sadiq Kahn wins the election for London Mayor. If Zac Goldsmith wins the Tory nomination we look like we will get a least one hit on this.

If Jeremy Corbyn wins tomorrow we could get a few dozen hits. A sort of SDLP is potentially going to emerge in the next few months, and a new convention of the last parliament is that crossing the floor will require a by-election.

Convention but not law. I'd personally expect the folk likely to do such a thing to "do a Shaun Woodward" more than anything. And his actions let David Cameron into parliament.

No the House of Lords doesn't count. It is an endearing part of the British political system that we still elevate the barking mad to a position of supposed superiority.

The great thing is that the Black Mirror episode was called "The National Anthem".

In retrospect, should have picked the Honourable Member for Witney.
