But what about the guy who inspired him, ex-copper Rodney Whitchelo? Whitchelo blackmailed Heinz after putting caustic soda and razor blades in jars of baby food, resulting in a series of children being hospitalised. When he was released from prison in 1998, he said in an interview "I now have my own computer firm". Which, looking at Company House, would presumably be this: Stelon Computer Consultants. So we have a full name (Rodney Frances Whitchelo), a rough time of birth (March 1947) and a correspondance address (Hornchurch, Essex). There can't be that many Whitchelos out there... I've skimmed through a few Whitchelo-surnamed Facebook accounts looking for "photos of my old uncle Rodders" but no joy. Anyone fancy taking up the baton?
