And then I wonder if that's caused by, and that's another theory, the high celebrity-per-capita ratio in the UK. I'd argue that no other country on Earth has so many celebrities per capita as the UK. You have the whole nobility. And you guys also invented pop culture as we know it. But even beyond that, I think no major german newspaper would write an obit for an ex-bishop like the Telegraph did for Michael Perham. Or maybe it's just perception bias because of this forum.
