I thought he was terribly unfunny. But then I might have caught only the bad stuff, like "What planet are you from"...

No, he was just not funny.

Same here. Only Americans found him hilarious, hence the popularity of his Larry Sanders Show. God knows why, Shandling was no-where near as funny as inadvertently catching my drunken ex-mother-in-law urinating in the sink. Then forgetting she hadn't done the washing-up. :banghead:

Indeed.. a personal 'urinary-washer-upper'.. only trouble is, I only have 5 wees a day, so business would be somewhat slow.

That's despite 3 mugs of Kenco a day & 2 chunky glasses of sherry/scotch & J.D. honey each night.

The Larry Sanders Show was good, although that was mainly down to Rip Torn TBF and who'd have thought old Rip would outlast his co-star from that and from The Man Who Fell to Earth?

Guest Guest who says Hi!

The last of the major script contributors to the original Twilight Zone.

He also was a major part of the TV show: The Waltons. It was based on his childhood. I believe his last name was Hamner.

Santiago Erevia, a Vietnam War veteran and retired mail carrier who had been denied the United States' highest military honor for 45 years because he was Hispanic, died on Tuesday in San Antonio. He was 69. The cause was a heart attack, said his wife, Letica Lopez Erevia. Mr. Erevia, who single-handedly wiped out four enemy bunkers while his comrades lay wounded.
