Weebl 216 Posted October 10, 2016 Leah Bracknell (b. 1964), who appeared for sixteen years in Emmerdale as Zoe, alleged to have inoperable Stage 4 lung cancer, via a Gofundme page asking for money for experimental treatment in Germany. If legit: I don't watch soaps, but I ran her name past my wife, who said "Oh, her!" in a sad voice, which is my fail-proof test for someone being a household name or not. EDIT: Genuinely, about 30 seconds after I posted, the Mail have it as breaking news. She will be a good candidate for next year - definitely highly Deathlist-able. At this stage, I'd like to reiterate my belilef that Deathlist is not about wanting anyone to die, but about wanting to predict death correctly... there's a huge difference. Or am I missing something?

rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted October 10, 2016 Why are they giving her money? The cancers terminal she's fucked! Maybe her morbid kids are angling for the biggest death pot possible My first thought, at the risk of appearing harsh was why doesn't she have the money? She must have earned a good wedge on Emmerdale. I got as far as Mexican Shamans in the article and realised she must have been fleeced by some snake oil seller. Now she wants some idiots to fund her trip to have some Kraut in a Kaftan chant mantras at her. If she sees out the year she has to be a definite addition to the DL. Predictor 1,018 Posted October 14, 2016 I've begun to prepare for my 2017 DDP team, and it's a tradition to select at least one Swedish celebrity. Sometimes, they turn out obitable, and sometimes not. For 2017, I have decided to include Princess Christina, our King Carl XVI Gustaf's older sister. She was born in August 1943 and would be worth 7 points in the Derby Dead Pool. Health-wise, she is a good pick because it has been revealed that she has chronic leukemia. https://twitter.com/Gertsroyals/status/786523999731912705

That would make her a good pick for HPDP. EDIT: By my calculations, she is 36th. Oh well.
