YoungWillz 21,047 Posted August 4, 2016 Unless a misspelling, the search box comes up empty. How the hell did we all miss THIS one from late May??! Former Rep. Steve LaTourette (Ohio), gravely ill with pancreatic cancer, has filed a claim against the government over the treatment he received from his Capitol doctors, claiming they failed to pass along critical information about a lesion on the organ and the need for follow-up monitoring. Story was carried in UK as well so no excuses lol. Death Impends 7,976 Posted August 4, 2016 Noteworthy on the DDP front as a boost for Heading Nowhere and Pan Breed - puts the former at second place now, I believe. Also means everyone who was on my subs bench is now dead, as he was third after Marks and Granger. But hard to complain given the carnage that's happened among the twenty who did make the final cut. msc 18,474 Posted August 4, 2016 He was another who was said to be in remission. Bishop Robinson and Keith Farnham will be quaking in their boots. On a personal superstitious level, I am glad my DDP team didn't hang around at 13 hits too long.
gcreptile 10,972 Posted August 4, 2016 Indeed, pancreatic cancer gets them all (except for Vera Caslavska, and maybe Sharon Jones, but then, she's only stage 2, so could take another year).

Or indeed like Steve Jobs who took ju-ju and mungo beans for a perfectly treatable form. Homeopathy anyone - the DDP's favourite treatment?

Be shocked if both Caslavska and Jones are still breathing by the year's end given how both of them are seemingly riddled with the disease now.
Sir Creep 7,070 Posted August 4, 2016 Some points for this one! Former U.S. Rep. Steve LaTourette died Wednesday night at age 62 after a battle with pancreatic cancer, according to his former chief of staff.
