Well, can confirm they won’t be unique (a team had them before drol announced them). Who it is will remain a secret. ;)

Stanislaw Kania, who was First Secretary of Polish Communist Party in the 80s, has died at 92. This leaves few Polish communist heavyweights from the day; foreign ministers Stefan Olszowski (1931) and Marian Orzechowski (1931) and Prime Minister Edward Babiuch (1927) are the names that spring to mind. Surely a few others still going.

I always got him mixed up with Stanislaw KowaLski, who is the 2nd oldest famous centenarian ! At least I'll know who is who from now on. Kania is the dead one :D

Someone wants this guy dead. Aslan Bzhania, a candidate for president of Abkhazia and former head of security, has been poisoned for the second time in less than a year.  You'd think a former head of security would be more careful.

Was thinking earlier. Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale must be the longest surviving US President and Vice President in terms of when they left office. 39 years this year
