I think this is a bad pick. Linda will see 2019.

There are worse picks than Linda Nolan in the List.

I think it's ok that she is included, but I am a little surprised that she crashed in at No. 9!

Expected her much deeper (40s area).

Same but a good choice

not 100% sure she will go this year but very famous with metastatic breast cancer in the bones. This is the second time she has had cancer too and it is usually worse second time round. If she makes 2019 she will have done very well indeed.I don't think the cancer in her hip is as minor as being stated by her and Colleen. It was most likely bad enough to cause her hip to break in March.Seems too coincidental that she broke the hip where the cancer just happened to be.

very famous? come on, do not exaggerate.
Nolans never had a # 1 hit in the UK or anywhere else in Europe or USA

she is seriously ill, ok, but she is certainly not "very famous"

Isn't she one of the loose women?

She's in worse shape than we thought David Cassidy was in a year back.

His Alzheimers was only the icing on a drink-addled cake which did for his internal organs.

That's Coleen. She doesn't have cancer, but she gives me it every time she opens her fucking trap.

No that can't be a coincidence, the weakening of bones is indeed a well-known symptom of secondary breast cancer in the bones:

Breast Cancer Care UK said:

When breast cancer cells spread to the bone, chemicals are produced [that cause] osteoclasts [to] become overactive resulting in more bone being broken down than is being replaced. (...) Secondary breast cancer in the bone may mean that the affected bones are weakened, which can increase the risk of fracture (breaking a bone).

Nolans were an answer on Mastermind tonight.

She's doomed (I tell ye, doomed).

Aye, but is she doomed in 2018?

So have I.....like a decade ago.  I thought her choosing a hospice facility was noteworthy last month, until I realized it was akin to her picking out kitchen window treatments.

This is what caught my eye:

"she remains adamant that she won't be taking chemotherapy drugs even if they can extend her life for a few more months, because she's seen how bad the side effects can be."

Yep, that was the gold nugget.

She's a bit too dramatic for me though, and breast cancer moves slowly. And even Leah Bracknell didn't quite believe in kumbaya only.

Poor family - they don’t appear to be well blessed in the genes department sadly.

That's what they get for eating diseased potatoes. P.S my grandparents on one side were Irish so I get a paddy pass.
