Wiped out.

He was having a hip replacement. He wouldn't have been doing much in the way of either walking or running.

Report of the death of singer Claudia Fontaine aged 57. http://www.voice-online.co.uk/article/uk-singer-claudia-fontaine-has-died

Now, I recognise her for her many appearances on Top of the Pops, singing backing vocals for the likes of Madness and Special AKA. And many more.

As for Bowen, he seems to be recovering from this round of strokes, but he doesn't strike as the type to last past 80.

If only he'd lived to be 180 we could have had so much fun with the  caption !

Now that's a thought. You live as long as your best score. On that basis:

Darts: possible longevity 180 years

Snooker: possible longevity 147 years

Ten-Pin Bowling: (perfect game) possible 300 years.

I can see a downswing in the popularity of football mind.
