Deathray 2,940 Posted January 26, 2020 22 minutes ago, The Quim Reaper said: Mental illness exists in three ways, unfortunately: the sense of genuine instability/frailty that can't be helped, but also as a label that both cunts/attention seekers give themselves, and cunts/virtue signallers give to other people because they're too "decent" to immediately assume a cunt is a cunt. Let's be clear, Sugar is a cunt that sometimes appears mentally ill, rather than a mentally ill person that sometimes appears to be a cunt. ///////

MrWonderful 480 Posted January 26, 2020 I'm a die-hard Laker fan, and I'm completely devastated. What he meant to the Los Angeles area can't really be properly measured. I've been crying off and on since the news broke. This one really, really stings hard, and to know that his 13-year-old daughter also died is just so cruel. An unimaginable tragedy. It's now been confirmed that 9 people were on board and all have died. Come to think of it, he's a global icon, forget just L.A. Coverage of this is on every local channel, every sports channel, and every cable news channel. This is major news.

From my non-American perspective it is not even the biggest death of 2020 (so far). Does it pay to be this stupid?

When someone's death musters 6 pages of conversation in hours then that's usually a sign a standalone thread is warranted.

His wife was confirmed to be safe since it was announced that Kobe died and I figure if the other 3 children died they would’ve announced it by now.
Jimmy Conway 20 Posted January 27, 2020 Who was the last sports star as huge as Kobe Bryant (like known to hundred of millions, even billions around the world) to die tragically so young? Senna is the first one comes to mind. While he's not quite dead, Schumacher accident does come to mind as being up there - superstar who only recently retired, and being a massive news story when it happened (and I imagine it will be again when he does pass).
