It does remind me of the way people responded to the deaths of Michael Jackson or Princess Diana, although I'm not saying his death is as significant as those of course. One shot Paddy 1,205 Posted January 27, 2020 Classic VFR into IMC, Steve Hislop and Bertie Fisher both went the same way. When I was taking lessons my instructor said that kills more pilots than anything else and chopper pilots are more likley to push it than fixed wing as people think you can just stop and hover in cloud/fog, you cant do that even if you are flying on instruments.
