04/04/1958 Tequila #5
17/03/1960 Too Much Tequila #49
NB: Lineup for Tequila is sourced on their Wiki page. I'm assuming that Cliff Hills is deceased, though his date of birth seems dubious. The lineup for Too Much Tequila is unclear, but I've used the lineup as of late 1959 listed here.
NB2: This page sets Alden's DOB correct. There's a death record with a matching DOB on Ancestry for a Gene Dwight Alden here. The middle name matches with this World Radio History publication here. This is him.

Updated. Gene Alden is indeed deceased (see note 2), as I suspected.

This means that Dave Burgess is the last survivor from the first Grammy Awards in 1959.

He discovered god by the looks of it and led a quiet life shunning any publicity, but he died in March aged 80. Legacy obit here.

I've also updated the entry for The G-Clefs, as "baby of the group" Ilanga Scott died last Christman Eve aged 82 from cancer, as reported by his local press.

Just one member still alive now.

I'm not sure how many fellow Scots feel about their adaptation of Auld Lang Syne. Can't say I'm keen.

Updated The Headboys with two passings. Both Heatlie and Boyter have died in the last year.

Heatlie's death was reported elsewhere on DL at the time as he was also a prominent songwriter. Boyter died in Oxfordshire (where he lived) around 12th September – there are tributes on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram but no press coverage.

That is one kick ass choon.

Bit of Bach in there, sounds much more like an 80s number than 70s. Reminds me of something else, mind you.

1979 was much more 80s than the late 80s were, if you get what I mean.

Yahoo UK picked up that article, so a missed opportunity for my US #1s theme. That's Paula under consideration for future submissions then.

Artie Fullilove died in about 2006, according to a post this thread - https://www.soul-source.co.uk/forums/topic/222290-arthur-fullilove/ - and seemingly confirmed in a family genealogy at Ancestry.

Yep, lots of tributes, including from her daughter.

This is sad. That's 5/7 of their members gone.

Assuming they haven't died off radar, the survivors are Ann Bogan (b. 1941) and Juanita Cowart/Motley (b. 1944).
