Johnny Johnson, who was long rumoured to have died from cancer in the 1970s, was alive all this time.

He discovered god by the looks of it and led a quiet life shunning any publicity, but he died in March aged 80. Legacy obit here.

Heatlie's death was reported elsewhere on DL at the time as he was also a prominent songwriter. Boyter died in Oxfordshire (where he lived) around 12th September – there are tributes on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram but no press coverage.

Yep, lots of tributes, including from her daughter.

This is sad. That's 5/7 of their members gone.

Assuming they haven't died off radar, the survivors are Ann Bogan (b. 1941) and Juanita Cowart/Motley (b. 1944).
