You beat me to it and - now that you've appointed me Fort correspondent - it has taken me three days to get here on my bike. They gave me a cup of Bovril and told me to fuck off back to England.

Zsa Zsa's daughter is doing well in predicting her Mother's death seeing as she has been dead herself for the last 2 and a half weeks. I doubt Zsa Zsa will die in the next few hours, she might be dead by 2020 if we are lucky. OH shit I forgot she died I thought she'd been seen out with Peter Falk.

Anyone vaguely familiar with the ideology of IS and Saudi Arabia (Wahhabi school of Sunni Islam) can't be very surprised at these findings. Oh well, and there may already be financial links as well: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/aug/31/combat-terror-end-support-saudi-arabia-dictatorships-fundamentalism Btw. I'm very surprised that King Abdullah wasn't on this years official DL. Almost to the point that it feels like a miss now. He was obviously in very poor health and unquestionably notable. And his name is much easier to remember than Bhumibol Adulyadej's…

Ernie has shagged his last fly ball. "Ernie Banks, the legendary Chicago baseball player known as “Mr. Cub,” died Friday night, a family attorney said. He was 83. The announcement came Friday evening from Chicago lawyer Mark Bogen, who said he was authorized by Banks’ widow to confirm the news to the media. A news conference was planned for Sunday at noon in Chicago, he said. Banks was an infielder who spent his entire career with the Chicago Cubs, from 1953 to 1971. The All-Star player was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977." http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2015/01/23/breaking-ernie-banks-mr-cub-has-died/

You've got to actually find a picture of them tumbling for a decent effect. Otherwise it just looks like a picture of you and your Norfolk pals trying to hitch a lift to the Foghat gig..... Oh and there was plenty of posts in the previous politics thread before it got inexplicably wiped. =/ Sorry, living in Norfolk means im not as hip as you, Ive never hear of fogtwat or whatever their name is. Also, to be fair, my bollocks aren't as hairy as the average tumbleweed. Top bantz guys lol...... You taking the piss? Moi? Never! I'm just enjoying the banter - one of you makes me laugh my tits off, the other is an annoying twat!

Could we even contemplate such a possibility? Well...try Googling the photos of the packed streets in Leeds paying tribute to Savile their fallen king of the people. Wonder how those people feel now.

You like posting in this thread more than BG likes bumping "Deathlist 2014" Still good point though, although there's a few errors there in the murky depths of those old pages. You probably shouldn't spend too long poking around in those dusty old things you'll give yourself chronic hackingcoughitis or summat. The reason I looked at those old DL versions was because I wanted to see which celebs have been picked most times. So far, those with 10+ appearences are... Clive Dunn: 16 Queen Mother: 14 Ronald Reagan: 14 Ronnie Biggs: 13 Bob Hope: 13 Kirk Douglas: 12 Eli Wallach: 12 Pope John Paul: 12 Fidel Castro: 11 Michael Foot: 11 Katharine Hepburn: 11 Barbara Cartland: 11 Kurt Waldheim: 11 Jake Lamotta: 10 General Pinochet: 10 John Mills: 10 Alistair Cooke: 10 Don Bradman: 10 And yes, I appear to post a lot in this thread. Sorry, I'll see to it that I tone it down a bit in the future. No need to apologise that is valuable data that you have collated. I don't think Kirk Douglas will beat Clive Dunn. Update: Btw, is there a "DL-statistics" thread or something to that extent in this website?

Any longtime US Senator is going to get something in Reuters UK, so one was never in doubt: http://uk.reuters.com/article/2015/01/22/us-usa-kentucky-ford-death-idUKKBN0KV27J20150122 Already on my third hit, much better pace than last year...

My condolences - sending you coping vibes too. Many Thanks Random, we also got news that my aunt in America died the same day as my brother. We have the brother's funeral today, but last night discovered we had a gas leak. We now have ready made holes in the ground outside the house. Wish we had known before we organised the cremation! It's going to be a long 2015! My condolences on your loss too RG. Peace.
