USA v Russia, not a real threat of war. USA v North Korea, not likely to end in war. The real threat lies with Pakistan & India, now the likelihood of conflict between them is high, escalation to nuclear conflict is moderate.

    "Slim Pickins produced some great hits in the sixties especially, from this his 27th album titled "I'm ill and and it won't supprise you that I'm Dead." Requested by Lord Fellatio Nelson on his way to White Hart Lane. Thanks again folks this was Brian Mathew, standing in for any old guy knowing too much about the record industry." 9th leader board is... 1st - 194.0 points - RadGuy 2nd - 173.8 points - msc 3rd - 170.2 points - Captain Chorizo 4th - 161.1 points - Maryportfuncity 5th - 130.8 points - Drol 6th - 130.5 points - Toast 7th - 110.2 points - Pedro67 8th - 95.2 points - gcreptile 9th - 88.2 points - Rotten Ali 10th - 82.2 points - Book 11th - 75.7 points - DeathImpends 12th - 73.6 points - Properina 13th - 65 points - Morbid Kid 14th - 51.8 points - Bibliogryphon 15th - 51.4 points - JoeyRuss 16th - 51.1 points - The Dead Cow 17th - 50.5 points - I'mNotHades 18th - 28.2 points - Deathers 19th - 25.2 points - DDT 20th - 14.2 points - LFN 21st - 11 points - Jiroemon Kimura 22nd - 1.2 points - Young Willz 23rd - 0.7 points - The Unknown Man =24th - 0.2 points - Tick Tock =24th - 0.2 points - Uschi 26th - minus 0.8 points - time

Hope so! Nevertheless, the world situation has deteriorated remarkably in the last two years and Trump and Putin are far less stable than the leaders on both sides even during the height of the Cold War. Ok so not a miss for my 1981 theme team. J Geils Band entered the UK charts with the above in February 1982 and two weeks later hit their highest position number 3 that month. I'll amend my 1982 list accordingly.

I just learned that Mormons apparently believe that the Apostle John is immortal, too and is evidently wandering around out there somewhere: https://christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/11528/what-is-the-basis-of-the-lds-mormon-belief-that-the-apostle-john-never-died Here is some more fun stuff on it (the guy in the last post is completely bonkers): https://community.logos.com/forums/p/5586/43398.aspx EDIT: More from this conspiracy theory site: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread784068/pg1

null Well, last time I looked Pearl Carr and Teddy Johnson (same era and arguably even more inane than that lot) were still alive. UK Eurovision entry (and disaster) from 1959 and subject of a running gag in one episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearl_Carr_%26_Teddy_Johnson

I hate these Killings. I voted Norway since we are under an alert because of what happened in Sweden a few days ago. Luckily the schools are now closed until next Tuesday.

The Stooges is a classic: The one man they all thought was going first and fast is the last man standing - Iggy Pop!

Yup they're all dead now. The Ramones had shit luck seeing as the oldest member lived to be 65.

Here is an internet celeb that even an old cynic like me can like. "Jam Grandma" (MarmeladenOma aka Helga Sofia Josefa) is an 85 year old German woman who has found fame reading fairy tales to her grandchild on the internet: http://www.dw.com/en/german-grandma-proves-hit-with-youtube-bedtime-tales/a-38005771 85 years old... I wonder how many more videos the old dear will post before she times out of life? After all, no one really lives happily ever after...

"Kill Yourself" message left on police officer's car. Maybe an ex-poster has decided to take trolling to a new level
