I'm really struggling for an explanation here but I'm going to throw some wild suggestion out there. Photo Now - he's just been in hospital because he has had an infection = one would expect one to look a bit shit. Photo Just Recently - he's out and about and doesn't have an infection = one would not expect one to look shit. I do accept however that he is 96, he probably has something wrong with his prostate (as most 96 year old men do) and possibly this is causing frequent bladder infections or similar conditions and he will die in the next 5 years. I find it hard to be sad about a 96 year old man who might die soon after having led a life of exquisite luxury.

I certainly did watch it. And soiled my pants many times.

This year I see him more frail. Maybe he survives next year, but I don´t see him reaching more than 90 years. Photo taken on 12th june.

Well, either that or there's nowt wrong with him that can't be cured by presenting him with a couple of lively young lasses.

NYTimes article: The Symptoms of Dying. "Dying has its own biology and symptoms. It’s a diagnosis in itself. While the weeks and days leading up to death can vary from person to person, the hours before death are similar across the vast majority of human afflictions." SC

No more Family Affairs for Brian Keith on this day 20 years ago, aged 75.

He looks very ill. I don't think he will celebrate his 97 birthday next year.

Usually they die when they can't breathe? I thought that was standard for all deaths?!

He's obviously having a health decline. Quite sad tbh.

Surely he should be Deathlist Number 1 in the unlikely event he makes it to 2018?

Good point, I'd say he's thinking about his dad, maybe he knows something we don't? That being said, I do feel he's aged rather poorly despite Phillip's condition.

Yeah, I seen y'all Brits complaining about the "heat wave" with temps at 30°C. We call that "summer" here in America. Cultural differences, man.

Even in Scotland it's boiling. Heading for highest June temperatures since 1976. I remember that summer well, it was horrid, followed by one of the nastiest winters. Time for Mother Nature to take over reaping duties for the rest of the year.

He's a good bet for #15 after newcomers Stefan Karl, Colin Meads, Johnny Hallyday, Olivia Newton-John, Charlotte Rae, Barbara Bush, a handful of people who will announce their illness later this year, and a handful of potential survivors from this year's list who are very ill (Bracknell, Downie, King Michael, Booth, Campbell, Stiles, Gascoine, Dawn, H. W. Bush).

Average life expectancy of a male 96 year old (his birthday was only 11 days ago) is 2.6 years with a 28.66% chance of dying before he is 97.

By the time Bush Jnr left office, America's international reputation was in the toilet I'm afraid to say. Along with its economy.

Hmm wouldn't that then be the Douglas-Addams Family?

Only 47? Lots of women still look good in their 40s, and she can afford more than most.
