Well I finally took a look at the entire benefit concert to see what you guys are talking about: OK, Let me tell you that this is George HW Bush at his most weak physically, he was at times unable to even clap to what the other presidents were saying. And there is this particular moment (first picture) that, had it been any other individual that night, would have been considered an insult to the flag. But mentally, he was still as sharp as ever, he was aware of everything, especially to the five (!) standing ovations he received . There was one particular cute moment where the MC of the ceremony made an allusion to his library, and he raised his hand as to say "I'm the Bush he's talking about". It's also nice to see Clinton wheeling old Poppy Bush away. It was also great that he spoke on his behalf. Just shows how much they have become good friends and almost like father and son over the years. His sock game is also as strong as ever! PS: One thing you guys forgot to mention: mother Barbara was using an oxygen tank for the first time, and it's never a good sign. She just HAS to be on next year's Deathlist.

Loved Julian May's books read all her SF and fantasy from The Many Coloured Land onwards. Got into them by accident my GF bought MCL from a second hand stall on Leeds market after he had her money the stall holder revealed that Julian May was actually a woman which put her off reading it so I read it instead.

Sad to hear that the train has arrived for George. Hope it's taking him to the land of hope and dreams.

I see two reasons for this. He is most likely afraid that God is actually an ape who is waiting for humans to evolve into apes. Or God does not believe in religion.

I've got a feeling there will be a few more women on next year's list. Perhaps around 15? Some possibilities include Doris Day Loretta Lynn Mary Wilson (widow of Harold Wilson) Barbara Bush Olivia Newton John Linda Nolan Barbara Walters Joan Plowright Diana Athill Della Reese Clarissa Eden

Laugh all you want, but Ford or Reagan were doing even less at 93. It's nice to see Papa Bush still rallying for a good cause, he's one tough cookie.

Donald Trump tomorrow morning: Bush Sr isn’t standing during the national anthem? He’s a huge disgrace to our country. He should be ashamed of himself...

As I posted in Death Anniversaries, President Trump has decided to release govt documents relating to the assassination of JFK on the 25th anniversary of Jim Garrison's death. Interesting timing. Too interesting. The release of these classified docs, meant to dispel conspiracy theories, creates its own conspiracy theory! SC

A woman by the name of Kymberley Suchomel, 28, who attended the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, passed away Monday just days after she had survived the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history unscathed. Suchomel, who posted her eyewitness account of the Las Vegas massacre in astonishingly vivid detail to her Facebook page on Oct. 4, subsequently died in her home on Oct. 9 from what reports are claiming are ‘natural causes.’ Shockingly, just days before her death, Suchomel posted KEY DETAILS about the shooting to Facebook that contradicted the official narrative which claims that Stephen Paddock was the lone gunman.
