Which is a feat worthy of Einstein compared to the reason Pan Breed didn't compete in the 2011 DDP: sending the email to, iirc, DDP2011(at)durbydeadpool(dot)co(dot)uk. (I'd have finished in the top 20 too!)

World Cup draw in a few hours. Think a nice easy group for England would do, like Brazil, Denmark and Nigeria.

Emperor Akihito of Japan is to abdicate on 30 April 2019, aged 85, in the first such departure from the Chrysanthemum throne in about 200 years, the government has said. Akihito’s eldest son, Crown Prince Naruhito, will ascend the throne the following day, beginning an as-yet-unnamed era. The decision was made on Friday at a meeting of the Imperial House council, which was chaired by the prime minister, Shinzō Abe, and included parliamentary leaders, supreme court judges and family members. Akihito expressed his wish to abdicate in August 2016 after he suggested that his age and health problems were affecting his ability to carry out public duties. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/dec/01/akihito-become-first-japanese-emperor-abdicate-200-years

This Willy Wonka guy has been a forum member for only a couple of days, but he already might qualify for worst deadpooler ever. He's now posted in several thread saying "oh, ___ is like 49 years old, that's like super ancient. Good pick for 2018."

We went to see Greg Davies last night who was very very funny indeed, but relative to here, during the show you discover that a few years ago he had to have a kidney removed due to a tumour that turned out to be non-cancerous, so he only has one kidney, which in itself does not put someone at death’s door, but still an interesting point to note, as he freely admits he’s not a picture of physical fitness and doesn’t give a shit.

The guy can walk, stand, hold a conversation and remember stuff. How many high profile q/o footballers of his age are in care homes?

It happens. Sometimes they can come out of realization that you misread the rules accidentally. Of course, the funniest instance I have seen so far have to be Sir Creep missing the 2017 Deathrace due to thinking that the list had to be turned in on the 31st when the last day was actually the 30th, especially since he entered the previous year's deathrace...

Earl Cameron is one of the great pioneering British black actors - one of the first black actors to play normal roles rather than ones created to be the black character. He was in Doctor Who when he got killed by the Cybermen: He's also in Thunderball as one of Bond's allies He was in everything from Neverwhere to The Avengers, from The Prisoner to Walking the Dead and Eastenders! He is now 100, and seemingly in decent nick for that age. Thus concludes the "who is Earl Cameron" answer post.

Since nobody picked any of the suggestions wouldn't it be funny if one of those died first? "funny" in the Alanis Morissette "ironic" sense.
