2 pointsI was thinking we were gonna get an 18th hit but not so sure now to be honest. This month has been pretty crap for deaths - especially considering December is normally a good month for hits and you normally get a few big names around Christmas time at least. Who have we had this month so far? Really only King Mike, Keith Chegwin, Max Clifford, Heinz Wolff and a handful of pornstars. That's well below average for a normal December in death.

2 pointsOr maybe they could have a merry Christmas by not looking up murder victims?

2 pointsD'ya think that clear mind allows him a second of self-indulgence at midnight on New Year's Eve as he clenches both fists and goes "yess!!!" as he thinks how many of us wasted valuable team picks on him in 2017?

1 pointFor me Helmut Kohl. 16 years leader of Germany including reunification and co-founder of the united Europe incl. common EURO. I think this live performance is more significant compared to someone like Hefner who presented us "only" naked bunnys on the cover of the playboy.

1 pointYeah, perhaps, but... why's that a bad thing? Does anyone care about Norwegian football outside of bits of Norway? I glanced over those stats but seems to show Fergus McCann right: live within your means, build up your own capital, dominate. Rangers just spent everyone else's money, it came back to haunt them. Died. The New Rangers probably perma-fucked for the time being. Anyhow, never mind all that. Apparently Thistle made a profit this year? Fantastic. We were a complete basket case financially only about 15-16 years ago.

1 pointYou know..... Larry may not be a bad pick, he's terribly death listy. Not sure it's his year, but when has that stopped the DL from inclusion? SC

1 pointA spin-off thread, perhaps more for extra-curricular than here, that I've always wanted to create is where we definitely list movies that the entire (known) cast is 100% dead from. Outside of, like, Swimming to Cambodia, it's very hard to do because so many movies have a guy listed on IMDB who did nothing else with their career (see: the bailiff from 12 Angry Men). Similarly, there's one actress in Guys and Dolls who vanishes after about 1960 that holds that film back from getting a black tick. Any interest in such a thread?

1 pointJose Carreras looks very frail & had to cancel a concert due to illness a while ago. Monserrat Caballe is infirm & wheelchair-bound. Placido Domingo, Sherrill Milnes, Mirella Freni & Tony Bennett on the other hand, seem to be in good form. Just an Idea: Rosie O'Donnell. She had a heart-attack, seems extremely choleric & writes confusing stuff on her Twitter feed. (Just like the late Carrie Fisher). Kathy Griffin is also a loose cannon. I think that both are capable of committing an act of madness. We may also see one or two suicides as a result of the MeToo movement. Polanski was able to come through difficult times, because he never lost the support of the film industry. But times have changed. Weinstein, Spacey & James Levine are probably too narcissistic to take their own lives, but others may not be able to endure life as an outcast.

1 pointThe other day in psychology class, we were all laughing at how stupid Pavlov's dogs were. Then the bell rang and we all went to lunch.
