5 pointsMissed this at the end of January, but cancer mum Sara Chivers was Drunkasaskunk's 100th DDP hit, making him only the third team to achieve that milestone. Deceased Hose look next in line, currently sitting on 97.

3 pointsWhilst distinctly less impressive, Liam Miller was apparently my 50th DDP hit, and am now at 53. DI is of course around 65-70 range and has played one year less... A quick tot up of her scores has Toast on 72*, so likely to join the All Time list by end of the year. *Because she's a long standing player and still playing, but wasn't on the Stats list.

3 pointsWill surely go down as one of our biggest misses. Assuming she sees out this year, let’s not make the same mistake with Clarissa Eden

3 pointsSTOP! IN THE NAME OF DEATH!* (Yeah, I know, it's what comes up when you Google Search for here too...) 6/50 6th June 2018 Lady Mary Wilson has sadly died at the young age of 102, to give The Crowdsourced Deathlist another success. This was her first appearance on the list, and she had been selected in 46th position. A poet and daughter of a minister, Mary Baldwin married Harold Wilson in 1940. For the next 55 years, she supported him through public life, be it politics, on-going rumours of an affair with his secretary, or a later period of extended ill health. In 1964, Harold became Prime Minister, making Mary the British equivalent of First Lady. She focused on her Private Eye diary () and her poetry, publishing collections in the 1970s which, while helped into being by her husband's job, were of much better quality than the witterings by some professional poets. She served as one of the Judges on the Man Booker Prize, awarding the 1976 prize to David Storey. Behind the scenes, she had a formidable reputation for holding the Labour party together during the 1970s. Truth be told, a warning Harold would get Mary involved was often enough to put the fear of God into any opponents! In the early 1980s, Harold was diagnosed with dementia, which swiftly took hold, and Mary looked after him (and stopped the press taking note of his strolls around Westminster) until his death in 1995. In the last two decades of her life, she spent much of her time in the Scilly Islands, for whom she was a popular publiciser, and having regular lunches with her alleged nemesis, Marcia Falkender. Mary Wilson hated politics, and though frail in her last decade of life, was still able to put the fear of God into a person with one Paddington Bear stare, as friends of mine have attested (having suffered it)! As a Bevanite member of the CND and principle backer of the Open University, her thoughts on New Labour never quite made print, for one reason or another... Msc editorial: I always had respect for Mary Wilson's protection of Harold during a long dementia, having seen relatives slowly decline to that horror disease. Plus, the on-going disdain to the Wilson years by the new Labour media made her an underdog figure of sorts too. So naturally, first name on the team sheet for my first few deadpools. I used to joke that if Clive Dunn was the Deathlist favourite then Lady Wilson was the Pan Breed favourite, but really, of all the people on all the lists I've ever submitted, she was the one I remained fondest of, as a person. She was a huge behind the scenes part of one of my favourite periods of a hobby horse - Labour party history as a larger part of British and Scottish social history as a whole - and her longevity added to the appeal. And now she's gone. Things just wont be the same on a personal level. RIP Mary. Carol Ann Duffy and Cherie Blair were just shit pretenders to the throne imo.

2 pointsWell, being a true Texas chica I have to admit I don't budget well, although that may change now that I've been made redundant. I got an Instant Pot last year and everything goes in that thing. I can pressure cook the world. It's great. The spousal unit once threatened to remove all my small kitchen appliances from the house. I threatened to remove his balls from his body. We came to a mutually satisfactory agreement that involved me keeping what I treasured and him doing the same. I used to cook every day, three meals a day, meal prep on Sundays and sail through the week with a freezer full of whatever I needed. Then I ran out of kids and I decided for about eight years that it was all bullshit and that the kitchen was Chernobyl. Now I need to start cooking for my mother and I swear I have no idea how to cook for less than six people, minimum. I had two boys and all their friends and their cousins (mostly male) and my truck driver husband to cook for. I learned to cook for a family of seven. Two is such a lonely number...... Off to do math!

2 pointsSad news the end of an era. I always felt strongly and said way back last year that the committee should definitely pick her for 2018 and I've been proven right.

1 pointA vicious swan attacked swimmers in a river as they competed in a triathlon. "The swan and its partner is nesting on the river with two cygnets and I think he was warning the swimmers to stay away from his family. I saw him go from one group of swimmers to another as the female swan and babies swam close by. It was tough for the swimmers." SC

1 pointRight, so as you might have noticed, Joey's been a bit ill/busy to update the scoreboard. So, I asked for the secret bonus system and Joey kindly passed it on, so I could update the scores. Its not quite complete as I don't know the list of "secret numbers" so folk might be missing a bonus point here or there, but as it stands, the scoring preamble... Satoru Anzaki , Barys Kit, Jens Skou, Louise Latham and Bill Crider died, no obit so far. Fixed Buisness, Chorizo, Torva, Gooseberry, Dead Cow, Heef got 1 bonus point for Order. 2 points for CastAway Morgan Tsvangirai gives 1 point to Bibliogrphyon, Dead Cow, Dath Impends, Drol, Fixed Business, Heef, RdGuy, Torva and YWillz Nabi Tajima gives 1 point to Bibliogrhypon, CastAway, Dead Cow, Death Impends, Fixed Business and RadGuy, and 2 points to Chorizo. Mitzi Shore gives 1 point to Book, Chorizo, Fixed Business, Gooseberry, and Toast. Catherine Nevin. Oh dear oh dear. 1 point plus Drop 40 = 4 + 1 point for being on Spade’s 2017 team = 5 MINUS 3 points for being in Jail = 2. Ok, not as bad as I thought due to Drop 40 bonus. So 2 points for Cast Away, Dead Cow, Drol, Gooseberry, Joey, and msc and 4 points for Torva, Pedro, Heef. Liam Miller was in the Drop 40. 4 points for Book, Cast Away, Chorizo, Dead Cow, Drol, Death Impends, Heef, msc, Rad Guy, Toast, Torva, Unknown man Jerry Maren produced 1 point for Bibliogrpyhon, Book, Chorizo, Dead Cow, Death Impends, Drol, Fixed Busines, Gooseberry and YWillz Tessa Jowell was in the Drop 40. 4 points to Bibliogryphon, Book, Chorizo, Dead Cow, Death Impends, Drol, Fixed Business, Heef, msc, Pedro, Torva and 8 points to Cast Away, Rad Guy, Toast and Unknown Man Stephen Hawking was in the Drop 40. 4 points to CastAway, Fixed Business, Heef, Pedro, Torva and YWillz. Rev Billy Graham was in the Drop 40. So that’s 4 points for Bibliogryphon, Book, CastAway, Chorizo, Dead Cow, Death Impends, Drol, heef, msc, Toast, Torva, Unknown Man, YWillz and 8 points for Pedro! Vanessa Goodwin. 1 point for Book, Chorizo, Dead Cow, Drol, Heef, msc, RadGuy and Torva. 5 extra point for Drol and msc for getting the Double on Goodwin and Bannister in the same day. Dean Francis made the Drop 40, so 4 points t Book, Choroizo, Dead Cow, Death Impends, Drol, Fixed Business, Msc, RadGuy, Toast and Torva. Doug Ford was a unique joker on the DDP. So 4 points too Chorizo, Death Impends, Gooseberry, Joey Russ, msc and Torva. Nanette Fabray died. She earned a bonus point for falling out of the limelight, last being active in public over 15 years ago. So that was 2 points for Death Impends, Drol, RadGuy, Torva, Toast and Unknown Man Roger Bannister died. This gave points to Bibliogryphon, Death Impends, Drol, Gooseberry crumble, msc and Toast. 1 point to each. Jim Bowen died. This gave points to Bibliogryphon and Joey Russ. 1 point to each. Ken Dodd died. This gave points to Bibliogryphon, Captain Chorizo, Drol, Gooseberry, Heef and joker points for Torva. 1 point to every bar Torva who gets 2. The June 6th Joker Pool Scoreboard 1. 1 pointSad for his family. But he was a miserable git. Met him twice, each time he was rude and arrogant.

1 pointWas surprised that this news didn't come with an update to the Cup. One of those classic "dies when everyone gets bored of picking him" sod's laws!
