Also promoted to colonel. I wonder if he would have been promoted if he didn't ' go for a walk'.

That would be me (not the shoelaces bit though). I would be more impressed with Starmer if instead of nagging at the government to spell out an exit plan for the current situation, he had offered one himself.

Yeah Haydn and Schubert both suffered badly with it.

I think they are claiming the 1937 date here but I have a reasonable doubt (I am open to being disproved) as that birth was in Tillicoultry which is a town 4 miles north of Alloa. Fyfe himself in the past has specifically said he was born in Alloa and you'd expect a proud Scot to know the difference. Given at least two of his roles are casting jokes based on Fyfe being too old to play the part (the significant age gap between Marina and Howard, him playing a 70 year old in Corrie) I'd be surprised if one of those 1920s dates wasn't him after all. No doubt we'll find out in the Times/Telegraph obit one day.

I do quizzes but am not that strong on music - so here are my unresearched answers as a guide. I'm 51. I always think 5 to 8 is the range of scores you are looking for in a quiz. cheers

Fkn hell - 25 points behind I think. Ed Genson not getting a QO is going to cost me the win. EDIT: Also means I need to revisit next year's team. EDIT EDIT: Ironic that I miss out on winning the Windy City Dead Pool because obits in all the Chicago papers don't class as QOs.

Them. Comment here suggests Ronnie Millings was born Belfast on 27 April, 1940: https://garagehangover.com/them/ (same reference for the line-up you used).

Cheers @YoungWillz, I've added the info for Aiello. Just found Hilliard. Franklin, Virginia helped as before there were too many to pick from. So the forum that posted the death notice said he was "George E. Hilliard"... Ancestry: George Earl Hilliard b. 8 Oct 1940 in Southampton, Virginia. Residency recorded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1993 and 1996. Must be our guy. Group details are complete, thanks.

With under 24 hours to go, here is who’s up to return in case one of our quarter finalists don’t turn something in: 1. Deadsox 2. Book 3. Banana Book and Banana had more hits than the two Prine jokers, so that’s why their ahead of Torva and Willz to return. At this rate more than one returnee is unlikely to say the least, but I’m mentioning it just in case...

The Truth. This interview from January 2018 probably tells you all you need to know about Frank Aiello. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05t64d6 From Highbury in London, aged 74 at the time of recording so let's say born circa 1943, now living on the Isle of Wight.

Fancied a change after 2 years here. In keeping with the Cloris theme, the new pic is from her role as Dotty Rounder in The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure (2012), a film which the actors were definitely not coerced into filming, no, not at all. It's more colourful and truer to my facial expression most of the time.

If they’re born abroad and emigrate here and the only record of their birth is their passport or an ID card, the relevant authorities just go with it. Eg Karam Chand or whatever he’s called. Also Fauja Singh will be down as 1911. Truth is they’re almost certainly younger but in the absence of a birth record, they’re recorded in the ONS with what they can present.

The Tymes. I see you have a date of death for Hilliard, so I'm surprised you don't have a date of birth. All I can find is he was born in Franklin, Virginia, if that's of any help in tracking the dob down.

A leader of the opposition who majority of public don't know has lower trust than a pm. Most people knew beforehand? It's not like trudt has anything to do with familiarity is it? Let's see who the public trusts in 12 months.

Get yourself some of this. Any pharmacy should have it. Really good stuff for getting you back on your feet after a debilitating dose of flu or whatever. Try not to ask for methadone, a mistake I have made in the past.

With the death of Kirk Douglas, de Havilland is now the last person born in the 1910s to have been nominated or won an Academy Award.
