Wow, thank you both! @YoungWillz, as you said, their record label has fibbed about their ages (by a year for Bray and Harris and by 2 years for the other 3). @RoverAndOut – the records you found for Twigg and Croshaw are definitely right, and I've located the other 3 – much easier when you have middle initials! The World Radio Mirror article is wrong about Bray's birthplace though – he was not born in Coventry, but nearby Meridan! Hence why neither of us could find him either. Updated. The entry has gone from almost empty to complete. All still alive according to the Electoral Register also. Stevenson's Rocket Discogs UK pop band from Coventry, West Midlands, the first act produced by Pete Waterman (b. 1947), drummer Steve Bray later played with singer Toyah Steve Bray 17 Mar 1958 – Living Mike Croshaw 07 Jun 1954 – Living Kevin Harris 30 May 1958 – Living Dave Reid 20 Sep 1955 – Living Allan Twigg 09 Sep 1955 – Living 29/11/1975 Alright Baby #37 NB: Considering this was a top 40 hit by a British band, there's very little out there on them. 2014 article by the Coventry Telegraph here. Birthdays sourced from here.

You obviously only made this so you can have more threads to trigger people with your obsessive political chat. Get a hobby.

The mods here really need to start putting their foot down on this shit. This place is becoming a Trump rally. I think word is travelling around these groups about how lax the moderation is here. So many new accounts only here to spread right wing us propaganda. This place will become like live leaks comments if this shit isn't stopped.

Daily Mail reporting that my DDP theme team pick Fay Weldon is divorcing her third husband at the age of 89. The article references not being able to speak well and a prolonged spell in hospital. I suspect the divorce might be to avoid him getting his hands on her dosh when the fateful day comes. Though he might be a better pick as her second husband died of a heart attack one month after their divorce

Or you could just lift their birthdates from this article (scroll to the bottom): https://worldradiohistory.com/hd2/IDX-UK/Music/Archive-Record-Mirror-IDX/IDX/70s/76/Record-Mirror-1976-01-03-OCR-Page-0007.pdf Edit: Possible they've knocked a year or two off their ages - if Rover is right about Croshaw being 1954, rather than 1956, for example.

So, not had much success in tying down whether they're all alive or not and a lot of this is tenuous but bear with me... Allan Twigg - the article you posted suggests he lives on the Isle of Wight, playing with a band called Skybus. Found them on Facebook, friends of one of the band gave me Allan but his profile appears to be private or barely used as there's little info on there. There is a picture from a couple of years ago of him with a woman and it says he's married, so I had a look and found this, which would work: Tracing that back, this looks certain to be right: No word on whether he's alive or dead though. Interestingly, the Coventry Telegraph article suggests he adopted Allan as a stage name but maybe not? Funny coincidence if not surely..? Mike Crowshaw - the article refers to him as Mike Croshaw and searching for that name brought up Michael Croshaw, a musician from Coventry. Barely anything more on it than that as far as I can see, and it hasn't been updated since 2016, so I don't know what to make of that. I came across this as a likely birth in Coventry: Steve Bray - judging from your birthday if not year for him, I'm assuming you came across his Facebook page? Irritatingly not friends with any of his bandmates and strangely his birth doesn't seem to come up easily. If he is indeed from Coventry, he either wasn't born there, or had a different name at birth - I can see why you haven't tied him down. Kevin Harris - according to this that you may have seen (as you said, there isn't too much out there), Kevin Harris moved to London and has been a recording engineer for many years. A search on Facebook threw up this picture from a band called 'Laura and the Flakes' with Kevin Harris at West Eleven Recording Studio. I'll let you judge if that's our guy but seems likely. He doesn't appear to have a Facebook page (hasn't liked the picture or commented underneath). Anyway, even if no DOB has been found, he's almost certainly alive as the picture's from September this year! David Reid is too generic without more info I suspect. Hope this is useful!

No you dont have the high ground. You think you do because of the bubble of delusion you've put yourself in but you really fucking dont. You would rather have some metaphorical 'high ground' and talk shit behind the safety of your computer screen and talk shit than care about someone's wellbeing. Really makes you look insecure... I remember your concern as 'ooo dont joke about that' and then you completely forgot what happened the next day. Besides what actual harm am I doing by asking nicely that we all try and be a little friendlier if Iain comes back? And btw, I dont think he should come back until he is mentally stable.

Guys dont you think we should consider CoffinLodger/Iain's mental health here? I know we all have our witty banter/arguments/political debates/tough love/etc, which is all perfectly fine, but dont you remember the post he put out saying he was going to kill himself? I'm just as guilty as everyone else here, as I have told him to fuck off repeatedly when it came to his unbalanced/bizarre posts and previously made fun of him, but maybe after what we saw last week I would be lying if I said that I wasnt a bit concerned. Yes he may be trolling, but what if he isnt? Is insulting him at this time worth the risk? ...and yes I know this is deathlist, not mumsnet, but I dont want him to come back on with his current mental state and feel like he's no good (even though his posts aren't popular). I had depression myself and it is a huge challenge when it comes to calling out for help and having your friends take you seriously when you say that you feel like you have nothing left. @CoffinLodger If you are suffering and if you change your mind then don't come back until you are mentally stable. This forum is a bad place for you if your head is in a mess.

Think it's a little harsh on Denise Welch she was just sharing positive news to counter balance the doom and gloom media. I've had covid it's real and I'm still feeling the effects of it but you do have to ask how much more can be done? If we go into full lockdown won't we have to go into another next year sometime? There's never been a successful coronavirus vaccine and how many more lockdowns can we do before the economy collapses? Whatever they did in Sweden worked maybe we should try another way in 2021. https://www.abc.net.au/news/health/2020-04-17/coronavirus-vaccine-ian-frazer/12146616
