Fauja Singh is an age faker, he couldn't produce a birth certificate to prove his age and someone said that he'd have been born in/around 1928. I have no idea if that's date is true, but apparently people in the village he's from (Beas Pind) know that he isn't the age he claims to be. Also, Stanislaw Kowalski deserves more attention. He's an actual supercentenarian, oldest notable person, fifth-oldest living man, sixth-oldest notable person ever, second-oldest notable man ever (after Alphaeus Philemon Cole) and the oldest man + third-oldest person in his country ever.

Pierre ‘Father Abraham’ Kartner, of Smurf fame, 86. I guess he did a Dunn by playing older than he was, but I still thought he’d be long gone. And yes, I was singing the Smurf song, in case you were wondering.

I think she's "interesting" in that it seems to me that her 500k followers are exclusively because of her cancer story? In the DDP, we allow social media people when they have more than 500k followers, because it makes them "influencers". And yet, I would also disqualify Jessica Hiatt, because I think she "only" has cancer. Anyway, interesting from a gamerunning point. I think she'll die in 2 weeks.

I listen to NPR and I’ve never heard of her, which tells me NPRs been around an eternity, which is a very long time (she was 91 after all)

Administrative error, was disallowed for every team that picked her (about five I think) but I accidentally rolled back to a previous spreadsheet for Annami. Corrected. Full team line-ups are coming, probably during my coffee break this morning.

The next 30 days of competition relies on this "talent" Councillor Nigel Taylor - Capt Vicky Phelan Ethel Caterham C W McCall Frank Field Susie Steiner Baxter Black Jorge Spedaletti George Perez Dame Clare Marx Vladimir Zhirovsky Subs Kane Tanaka Joyce Reynolds Bob Barker I'm imagining the three alliterative picks starting with Frank Field as some kind of dynamic midfield, or summat

In my dream last night I scrowlled down the wikipedia "list of recent deaths" and read that German writer Martin Walser has died just one week after his 95th birthday. 'Yeah, next hit for my theme team and for the D-A-CH-list', I thought, but it was just a dream. Maybe wishful thinking.

Video of Colette Maze, French pianist of 107. Has quite a reputation in France. Looks and sound AMAZING for her age, she’s so touching and down to earth ! Can « dance » a little, still plays 4 hours a day of piano, could definitely reach 110 I think
