2 pointsUpdated this a bit. Hans van den Broek has suffered from Alzheimer's for atleast four years. Not sure about the others but René Steichen already looked horrible in 2014, and he's just 80. As Michael O'Kennedy died earlier this year, only Davignon and Baron Tugendhat remaining from the Thorn & Jenkins Commissions.

2 pointsDuchess Woizlawa Feodora of Mecklenburg (1918-2019)'s son, Heinrich Reuss (1951), stylized as Prince Heinrich XIII, has been arrested yesterday for his involvement in the coup d'état plot to overthrow the German government. According to reports, he was the intended monarch for the revolutionary government. While not an imminent suicide risk or the likes, it's a clear sign he has completely lost all sense of reality. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/dec/07/key-figures-behind-alleged-far-right-plot-to-overthrow-german-government

1 pointIt is about time there was a specific thread for this French music icon. She has been fighting laryngeal cancer for years and has recently lost the ability to sing, owing to effects of cancer treatments. In the below recent article, it explains how Hardy now needs help going to the toilet and is in a very fragile state at the moment, according to her son. https://www.public.fr/Elle-a-des-gens-pour-la-toilette-Francoise-Hardy-affaiblie-par-la-maladie-son-quotidien-est-devenu-un-enfer-Un-proche-balance-1750927 And in the following even more recent article, it is revealed Hardy feels too tired to come to see her son. https://www.lefigaro.fr/musique/thomas-dutronc-s-inquiete-pour-sa-mere-francoise-hardy-elle-se-sent-trop-fatiguee-c-est-complique-20221201

1 pointI was brought up on Top Of The Pops until they axed the main show in 2006. Though it was slowly crashing due to BBC moving the date/times of the show from like a Friday to Sundays etc. You can still catch edited past versions of the show on Dave or other random channels. Honestly why perform live to possibly 2 million viewers who may be eh about your music when you can upload to your own personal Youtube channel where you have 16 million subscribers and you possibly even get a % of that revenue. Adele's most recent music video got her 18 million views. Taylor Swift 34 million and don't get me started on Kpop.

1 pointClass footage Octi, many thanks. I agree, it looks like Dana's route outta there is scuppered by hitting the wreckage ahead of the spinning car. Hell of a testament to the way they've improved car safety though, so much carnage, so few flames.
