Finally it's time to solve some mysteries. I joined a group that talks only about Italian cinema and there were posts made by a film historian to whom I wrote privately and he told me that "the searches are based on the death records that every Italian city has, it really takes time but it's worth it " So here are some dead names that are no more and have been discovered (some are also mentioned in other threads) Maria Dominiani (Wiki) b. 10.05.1913 † 10.12.1993 Link Alfredo Varelli (Wiki) b. 31.08.1914 † 18.08.1996 Link Lilia Dale (Wiki) b. 18.07.1919 † 03.12.1991 Link Carlo Giustini (Wiki) b. 04.05.1923 † 26.10.2005 Link Giulio Donnini (Wiki) b. 17.02.1924 † 22.05.2001 Link Xenia Valderi (Wiki) b. 21.01.1926 † 03.11.2008 Link Tania Weber (Wiki) b. 18.08.1926 † 20.11.2009 Link Rossana Rory (Wiki) b. 07.09.1927 † 01.04.2020 Link / source Clara Bindi (Wiki) b. 01.11.1927 † 24.02.2022 Link Fiorella Mari (Wiki) b. 21.06.1928 † 02.03.1983 Link Luisa Rivelli (Wiki) b. 10.02.1930 † 12.06.2013 Link Eloisa Cianni (Wiki) b. 21.06.1932 † 27.05.2022 Link Marisa Belli (Wiki) b. 12.04.1933 † 09.12.2017 Link Edda Ferronao (Wiki) b. 08.06.1934 † 25.01.1986 Link Rosy Mazzacurati (Wiki) b. 09.05. 1936 † 16.10.2020 Link Dina De Santis (Wiki) b. 21.12.1943 † 04.12.1985 Link Riccardo Salvino (Wiki) b. 29.03.1944 † 12.01.1999

Emperor Vespasian died on this day 1944 years ago, aged 69. - When he was young (around the year 35 AD), Vespasian was a street cleaner; his work was so half-assed that Emperor Caligula would shove muck from the streets down his toga. - One of Vespasian's first major military roles was during the Judean Revolt in 66. He reported that he destroyed the ancient Biblical city of Jericho in 68, and took Jewish captives to the Dead Sea to test its legendary buoyancy (a fact later proven due to its extreme salt content). - Vespasian was the last emperor of the Year of the Four Emperors (before him were Galba, Otho, and Vitellius). He was in Egypt when declared emperor, and was considered a pharaoh by its citizens. - Vespasian was particularly unpopular in the provinces of Judea (he ordered the descendants of King David "hunted down") and Africa (modern-day Tunisia and Libya; its populace disliked his financial policies and some threw turnips at him during a procession). - Vespasian would place a tax on urine during his reign. - Vespasian's most lasting contribution to the world was the Colosseum, which he ordered constructed over the site of Emperor Nero's destroyed palace in 72. - Vespasian died from either complications from a stomach virus, or dehydration from the resulting diarrhea. His last words were "I think I'm turning into a god... An emperor should die on his feet."

Christian Anders (b.1945) The Austrian entertainer was a popular Schlager singer in the 70s and 80s in Germanic speaking countries ,also the Prototype for the likes of Steven Seagal/Tommy Wiseau to self fund/star in really bad vanity driven action flicks. At risk of hypocrisy and not wanting to get all Old Testament fire and brimstone preachy about it, but you'd like to think this might be seen as a sign for rich tourists to stop poking their noses into what's essentially a mass grave. I feel sadder about the cross-channel charity swimmer who went missing this week, with far less media fanfare. He probably didn't die in two nanoseconds.

Yeah, we agree. Kunt And The Gang doing their thing with their political songs is grand, that speaks to everyone and speaks up for the vast majority who’ve had things fucked up by the past few governments. And it’s all they need publicity-wise; they’ve had multiple Top 10s out of it. Their obsession with sexual abusers, though, is just an added trauma for their victims, and it’s not nearly as effective at raising their profile anyway. They’d have done well to go no further than chatting pub bollocks about them amongst themselves.

Long established on that front, arguably it's what got him noticed in the first place – though the Boris stuff propelled him much higher. He's done songs for Prince Andrew and Ian Watkins too. I don't find them funny. He makes light of extreme child abuse (incl. in the case of Watkins the rape of a newborn baby). As I said – desperate grifter.

Yeah, the Rolf thing, again, unnecessary. He should stick to politics.

He's a total grifter. None of his "songs" are funny or imaginative parody/satire. Just a desperate opportunist. I see he's rehashed his old Jimmy Savile song and changed the lyrics somewhat for Rolf Harris. Again, not funny, just a bit cringe tbh.

So am I right in saying this was the timeline of events: 1. ITV bosses knew that Schofield was having a legal-but-morally-dubious dalliance with a young runner, didn't really care because whatever 2. Holly Willoughby decides that she wants Allison Hammond as her co-host not Schofield. 3. Schofield shows no interest in stepping down 4. ITV bosses decide to throw Schofield under the bus to get him to step down 5. This all blows up in their face because Willoughby's insincerity is plastered across her forehead.
