1 pointFamilysearch's records are great, but the trees and profiles are maintained by simpletons and can usually be safely ignored. Case in point, her brother's page says he died in 2000, when he actually died in 2016 (clearly someone lazily confused him with another guy of the same name). She's listed as a survivor in that obituary and was returning fanmail as recently as 2022, so I think we can conclude the unsourced update claiming she died way back when isn't true.

1 pointWithin a month both living nominees from the first editions of the award died, leaving 1960 without survivors as well, 1958 is the oldest edition with a surviving nominee for the award now, Colin McDonald (b. 1930)

1 pointThis is Annie O'Donnell's IMDb entry: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0640721/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 She has acting credits through 2023, so is very likely still alive. Her is Bess Meisler's IMDb entry: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0577062/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 Her date of birth is listed as July 29, 1922 and her last credit 2016. She has been mentioned in the Deathlist thread 'Ideas and Possibilities for 2025'. That suggests she's either still alive or hasn't received a public obituary.

1 pointI would keep him somewhere within my top 60-70 or so. He's not at imminent risk of death enough to make it into my top 50, and besides being old seems to be a great candidate to make it to 2025 at least. #2 is kind of a joke.

1 pointRight, mentioned him when he was due to get elected in the Philippines last year I think. He romped in in the back of an anti drugs crackdown, with literally 'you kill a dealer and you won't get arrested, you'll get a medal'. Update on his success. http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/12/07/world/asia/rodrigo-duterte-philippines-drugs-killings.html?smid=tw-nytimes&smtyp=cur&_r=1 I really think he has more chance of being capped in 2016 than Griffith or a random Isis heid bummer. I really doubt he'll be around for reelection. Bring him home...
