might be the first set of photos I have seen this year of one of my picks that I can say glad I have them on my list. Any other photo or video I have seen of one of my picks they look great and you feel they are not a great space holder and have a little regret of not picking someone else. I have seen Joan Collins, Tippi Hedren, Marion Ross, Micheal Cane. None of them seem to be struggling much for their ages

Eze V. B. C. Onyema III dead? I have no idea what's happening in the video, that white guy twerking and everything, but according to the description it's a celebration of the Eze Onyema's life. Can't find a deathdate either.

Personally I go with what staging they have because you can do amazing things in a music video but then be average to mediocre on stage. It's why I like Finland's entry so much.

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/u1CDZvrBkmTcgrV7/ This video on Caprio's FB page seems to have all the hallmarks of a last farewell. Frailer, very emotional and has all the aura of someone who knows his time might be nearly up.

I know I'm a few days late to this but Owen Jones's 'I Quit Labour After 24 Years. This Is The Alternative' video just popped up on my Youtube recommended page and whilst I have never heard of this man before this week so I don't really get why it is such a big deal, I do agree with a majority of the points he makes. -

Saw this story earlier. Susan Hall has denied all knowledge of this video and has not watched it. Who made it? Tory Head Office. Brilliant. Oh, and this is the second version I believe, the first showed people running on the underground - except it was Penn Station in New York and not the London Underground. -

Like Charles, no details on the stage or type of cancer. From watching her video statement, I was struck by how she described her chemo treatment as "preventative." Otherwise, the statement lacked any of the "we expect a full recovery" that would be expected if it was caught at an early stage. -

Prime video is pretty poor all round now, browsing, it seems half the offerings are Rent/Buy, from a partner service (e.g. Paramount, which is an additional fee), or on FreeVee (with ads). But sticking ads in actual Prime Video output and offering an "ad free" experience for another £3/month (or additional 33% if you will!) is beyond shoddy. But having lived through what they did with Amazon Music, I'm not in the least surprised.

Which, even though I didn't use the video that much anyway, was the final straw on my Prime membership. 9 quid a month is 108 a year, not much in the great scheme maybe, but I'm rarely in that much of a hurry and in the month or so since I quit it's taken maybe a day longer and is still free if you do 20 quid or so. Further, Amazon is not the cheapest by default anymore, the ratings are 'gamed' to hell and back, everything is some alpha-betti spaghetti name where the quality is at best questionable and at worst just dreadful. And lastly if I can give money to anyone who isn't Bezos and is preferably a british company (ha! I try) so much the better. Their returns are good though, at least for me, never had an issue.

Some QPR legends at Loftus Road tonight honouring Stan Bowles. Ron Abbott, Gerry Francis, Ian Gillard, Frank McLintock, Phil Nutt, Don Shanks and Dave Thomas (who is now blind) are all present according to QPR's Twitter. Photo of McLintock and Gerry Francis in the foreground. McLintock doesn't look too bad considering he's now 84. Phil Parkes and David Webb sent video tributes which are on Twitter and both look fine. Don Givens and Don Masson gave written tributes so might not be in such good health.

Death to all modern-day YouTube video essayists, I don't need some prick reading a seven-year-old Encyclopedia Dramatica article about something that happened 11 years ago for 3 hours.

YouTube video essayist James Somerton has posted an apparent suicide note on Twitter. A few months ago, he was proven to have plagiarised most of his videos, and has faced a mass pile-on since then.

John Candy died on this day 30 years ago, aged 43. - Candy's first major role was in the Canadian kid's show Dr. Zonk and the Zunkins that ran from 1974 to 1975- which also starred Gilda Radner. - Candy also worked early in his career with Rick Moranis on 90 Minutes Live- and was considered for the role of Louis Tully in Ghostbusters. Despite not getting cast, he did cameo in the music video for Ray Parker Jr.'s accompanying theme song: - Candy's breakout role was considered to be Freddie Bauer in 1984's Splash. 1987 was another prominent year for him, as he starred as Del in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Barf in Spaceballs: - Candy also delved into voice acting- he voiced the titular character of Heavy Metal's "Den" segment, Wilbur in The Rescuers Down Under, and voiced a fictional version of himself in the Saturday morning cartoon Camp Candy, which ran from 1989 to 1992: - Candy was also known for having short cameos in movies that include Little Shop of Horrors and Home Alone. - Candy had an unhealthy lifestyle- he smoked a pack of cigarettes a day, binged alcohol, and he weighed over 300 lbs at one point. His father died from heart disease at 35- and Candy died from a heart attack also at a young age.

Caught the Ghostbusters music video there. Apart from the main Ghostbusters Ivan Reitman (director) 1946-2022 Cindy Harrell 1956 Ray Parker Jr 1954 Chevy Chase 1943 Irene Cara 1959-2022 John Candy 1950-1994 Melissa Gilbert 1964 Ollie E Brown 1953 Jeffrey Tambor 1944 George Wendt 1948 Al Franken 1951 Danny DeVito 1944 Carly Simon 1943 Peter Falk 1927-2011 Teri Garr 1944 Anyhow, maybe OP could actually do lists for the films as was done for the Back To The Future thread. Why Rick Moranis was missed off the OP beggars belief. Who is brave enough to open the Police Academy thread?

Video from his 95th birthday: Not the slightest sign of decline. Lisa Lu is his female equivalent, she is still acting as of 2024 and does not seem to age at all.

Yes, I should have added his "voice acting" - I have also played a few of the video games that he contributed to.
