Because it would have been seen by the followers of all the followers who 'liked' it.

Matt Lucas tweeted about it. Case closed!

This chap was a regular BBC/Guardian go to expert in his field but not for a number of years now. Hmm.

Alas for his quite young family, it sounds like he wont see the new year.

Renowned Oxford scientist Mark Stokes announces on Twitter that he has “days” left. Relatively young and suffering from terminal cancer.

May make the 2023 starting line so worth a punt in the DDP as he may score a Guardian obit.

Sorry (not sorry) if I just revealed someone’s unique pick. I’m retiring from the DDP so I have no cards to hold for next year!

My DDP team will be rubbish so will take anything posted on here.

Looks healthy enough at the moment but I don't think he has been mentioned on here since January

Hawaii painter-sculptor Satoru Abe has been on my radar for a while and has looked quite frail for years. 97 next year.

Alan Bergman for April 2023, because his wife Marilyn passed away last January and loved ones and/or co-stars say "I will see you in a bit" when they pay tribute meaning that they will be reunited again in the spirit world eventually.

Wow I didn't know Alan was still alive. He's 97 years old. I'll be upset when he dies.

I heard he's got Alzheimers. May be one to watch!

Tony Bennett also has Alzheimers, so he is also on my list for 2023.
