Whilst it is currently flying high let us take a moment to consider Temptation as a track. 

 

It is so Eighties that it must be one of the track included in generic 80s compilation albums but it is truly a triumph of style over content. The production is so full on and bombastic that you are caught up in the energy of it all but if you step back and analyse the lyrical content it is literally just a series of unconnected statements that bear no relation to each other or the title of the song.

 

Now this does not mean it is a bad track because there are any number of banging dance anthems that just consist of a single repeated phrase or motif but for some reason this song feels like it should be more significant. 

 

Don't get me wrong, I like it and will not be down voting it whilst there are many less deserving songs in play, it is just something I have noticed
