There are still 5 left at the moment so more than half left.

Conteh used to get hit in the head for a living but he's conspicuously the youngest of the bunch. A rough guess - he will be the last one left but on the day the second last one checks out Conteh might not remember who the fuck that person was or when they were photographed together.
maryportfuncity 10,630 Posted August 13, 2019 Why did The Beatles cross the road? To give conspiracy theorists something to talk about.
DevonDeathTrip 2,358 Posted August 14, 2019 A very tenuous link, but a story about the February murder of artist, poet and sculptor, Peter Flux in Paignton. Flux was a friend of John Lennon and worked for Apple records in the early 1970s. A practicing Buddhist, he was stabbed to death by his crack addicted neighbour when he declined to lend her £80. YoungWillz 21,014 Posted October 12, 2019 As I can't find another musician with the name I'll suggest that this is a death notice for the Ray Swinfield who played flute on Penny Lane: http://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/deaths/236611/swinfield If so, he also played on music heard on Mr Benn and the soundtrack for Chicago, played with Johnny Dankworth's Orchestra and recorded music with Roy Castle and separately the Play Away presenters.

Her daughter, named Victoria Elizabeth, was born at the Salvation Army’s Elmswood Infirmary on Liverpool’s North Mossley Hill Road. After pressure from Julia’s family, Victoria was given up for adoption to a Norwegian Salvation Army captain, Peder Pedersen, and his wife Margaret. The child was renamed Ingrid Marie Pedersen and was raised in Crosby, England.
YoungWillz 21,014 Posted March 2, 2020 I see Simon Posthuma, one half of Dutch design collective The Fool has died: https://www.parool.nl/kunst-media/ontwerper-simon-posthuma-81-overleden-rust-zacht-lieve-papa~b1929f94/ IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4505509/ Again, unable to translate the news link for some reason. They designed clothes worn by The Beatles in Magical Mystery Tour and the All You Need Is Love broadcast and also famously the mural that decorated the Apple Boutique in Baker Street. Performed at one or perhaps a few of the 20+ Litherland Town Hall dates the Beatles played after the Fabs returned from Hamburg, with Tucker's then band The Cinnamons. So "opened for" is probably more accurate than "performed with". Did release a version of "My Prayer" on his own, and also with Earl Preston And The TTs (with who Tucker was back up singer), neither of which made a dent in the charts. However, Earl Preston And The TTs did beat The Beatles in a Merseybeat poll of the most popular local bands, I'd say 1960/61. Finally a bit pally with McCartney before the Fabs became famous. YoungWillz 21,014 Posted April 19, 2020 Report (by the best source possible) of the death of Terry Doran: Don't have much to add, it's all there in the tweet, save for providing the tour van in the early days, and managing Mary Hopkin (rather unsuccessfully) and the Apple discovered band Grapefruit. RIP Terry.

YoungWillz 21,014 Posted May 15, 2020 Have it in English: https://www.nme.com/news/music/the-beatles-photographer-and-collaborator-astrid-kirchherr-dies-aged-81-2669896 Astrid Kirchherr was a beautiful soft spoken girl who barely made any money from her photographs with the Fabs. Reading about her, you can only think how it must have been for her when the four boys returned to Hamburg and secretly sought her out during their tour (1964?) after they were a world wide sensation. RIP.
