Only ever released one album, on what appears to be his own label, back in 2006. Presumably he was getting enough RIPs on social media for the Sun to pay attention.

80s groups of fat rappers/R&B singers tend to have at least one member missing e.g. Sugarhill Gang and LeVert.

Posdnuos is the only member of De La Soul who looks like he took care of himself. I'd expect him to live to a decent age. Maseo is still on the heavy side.

Was going over this in my head: how many actual rap groups (three members minimum) who released music in the 80s still have all members alive? The only one I could come up with was Compton's Most Wanted.
