Ulitzer95 12,620 Posted August 2, 2022 A unique DDP hit for one team who never gave up the faith after 21 years... Got to admit, I thought they'd never get him. He was very slippery. Looks like the U.S. thought he may try to slip back into Afghanistan after the Fall of Kabul, which is exactly what he did. Let his guard down, got complacent and they got him. Death Impends 7,975 Posted August 2, 2022 Joker at that. Should pan out to 28 points whenever al-Qaeda confirms. Has to be the biggest points pinata since the Vervoort jokers. It is a weird feeling now having droned terrorists in their 70s I must admit!

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted February 22, 2023 So, Britain says no to Shamima Begum, interesting dead pooling question here. Is she safer in a refugee camp in northern Syria or in London? Asking mainly because q/o chances a shoo-in, she's got enemies in this country and health hazards where she is and at 23 she's DDP gold if things go badly wrong! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-64731007
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted February 25, 2023 So, asking because I haven't a clue but... The attempt to kill John Caldwell in Omagh has led to five arrests amd widespread reporting that the New IRA are behind it.in 2022 ten of their people got arrested. I'm thinking there aren't that many of them to start with and everytime they do something highly public they lose operational staff to arrest. Anyone know how effective/well organized they are and if they'll be keeping dead poolers in points at any time?

Just an idea - it could be a slow acting suicide bomb, locking the public in somewhere and standing amongst them eating pasties until the bomber bursts!

maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted March 10, 2023 Still no news on the motive for the shooting of the German Jehova's Witnesses, though press briefling shortly. Shooter likely amongst the casualties having committed suicide, more seriously injured than dead by the look of it.
