Last Word is part of the QOs since 2021, see the first post in the DDP 2021 thread. msc also pointed everyone to the Last Word web page which is a QO: 2 hours ago, msc said: From my sickbed, @YoungWillz, it was changed and announced last year for this years competition. Has to be written down on the last word page. One new qo players had asked for, along with the return of the independent. Ah right, I do need to know for Poker Tournament purposes. Must have passed me by, I recall such obits being disqualified in the past.

So far, the first Last Word Only QO, yes, but I don't know, she might get one of those backlog Times obits. Just like she seems a sort of "quiet times Last Word" obit. There weren't many big names in the past week.

gcreptile 10,972 Posted November 25, 2021 I might even change the DDP obit because the Last Word link is less precise. She has received a couple of obits now. It seems we are in total "backlog obit" mode right now. No high-profile deaths in a week or so. I'm surprised we haven't seen a tumbleweed on here lately.
