First frost in October jeez. We had our first in September

And I thought Chicago was cold... where do you live, the dense forests of northern Maine?

We're getting our first snow tonight in Chicago. For some reason, it's also our first snowstorm. It was warm enough to wear short sleeves 2 weeks ago, and now we're having a goddamn blizzard as our first snowfall. 6-9 inches of snow expected overnight. It's the evening right now and we already have a bit on the ground. It will dip down to 9F (-13C) tomorrow night!

Anyways, it will luckily warm up next week. A nice and warm 54F (12C) expected on Thanksgiving. I like snow, but it's too early.

It's snowing in Boulder. Of course it freaking is, because I have to bead back to Dallas tomorrow morning. I get to slide down the freaking Rockies.

There's one for the resume. "I once navigated the snowy Raton Pass in a rented Ford Fusion. The project was a success as I did not ricochet off of any 18 wheelers."

Must be the night of first snows on both sides of the atlantic. 2 inches by 2am last night - all washed away by the rain/sleet that followed and now it's cold enough for snow again.

No snow in the Netherlands yet, and currently even some shine, but later today rain, sleet and hail are expected. The temperature fell 10 C in a day. I bought a new knit cap this morning.

Headed to the hills after seeing the forecast last night, with food, duvet and coffee etc.

It's meant to be gone by Sunday/Monday and I know the bits I get 3g :).

Problem is, if it melts at sea level and not up a few hundred feet, as I'm in a 2wheel drive piece of semi legal shite. Make that illegal piece of shit.

Oh 4x4's are for the city :)

Well, the sun is about to set and I just finished my second time shoveling snow today! We got almost a foot here in the northwestern suburbs, it's the first November with more than 6 inches of snow at O'Hare since 1978.

We had another wind storm and my complex lost power for about six hours Thursday night. Beautiful sunny but cold day today. I'm going to attempt to put up holiday decorations tomorrow.

Can we just have a show of hands of where everyone is from, as I genuinely am interested in all your weather reports, but it has no real meaning if I don't know where the fuck you're talking about.

I'm in Wiltshire, which for our foreign johnny mates, is South West England. And today it's bright and clear, and I'm freezing my fucking bollocks off.

I'm in Chicago's northern suburbs.

Any posts before July 2015 are for Kraków, Poland, where I lived for 4 years.

I don't know why I'm saying this. In every post on this thread I say something like "in the Chicago area" or "Here in Chicago", so you know where I live anyway. Plus it says on my profile
