The Mad Hatter 1,093 Posted May 7, 2016 I'm gonna ring the doc on Monday morning, in the meantime I've been too scared to have a sausage roll and I've just declined a jug of Woo Woo. All probably a bit late though if I'm about to become the latest big name corpse around here I got some questions Does your family have a history of heart disease Are you overweight Are you often stressed of angry Do you drink or smoke a lot. YoungWillz 21,178 Posted May 7, 2016 Having had the personal experience of this, any chest pains that go on for longer than around 15 minutes = phone 999, and chew down 4 x 75mg aspirin. That is my specialist's advice. They'll do a simple test at the hospital to see whether there has been any heart issues, and you don't want to damage heart tissue, which if you delay you may do. Then if an attack comes, the tissue might not be strong enough to save you. Get it done.

No. Yes. Yes. Contrary to popular belief I don't drink often (twice a month at most) however when I do drink I drink a considerable amount. Ex-smoker. Deathray 2,942 Posted May 7, 2016 Actually, mods, can you retract the like on the last post, as the use of 'a jug of Woo Woo' should've been taken into account... Thanks in advance ... Do it yourself? Click on the like button again.

I think they went a step further and disabled guest posts all together.

Had assumed you were trawling historical posts, something I sometimes do, I wasn't even aware of those links. Surprised me to find myself there also, particularly in such lauded company, some of those on there are very worthy.

Lard Bazaar 3,800 Posted May 9, 2016 Ok, so it appears I haven't died! I've seen the doctore, and basically the arm pains and chest pains are not related - the arm pains relate to a neck injury, and the chest pains relate to acid reflux due to being a fat cunt! Woohoo! I'm saved! However....and I'm being proper serious now.....I was shitting myself at the weekend, every twinge I was like 'fuck, this is it, I'm about to die'. And I started to think why have I been such a greedy twat all my life to get to a point where I'm very fat and worried about dying of a heart attack at the ridiculously young age of 42? So now is the time to make some changes. Less crap and a bit more sensibleness.

I've convinced myself on a number of occasions that I've had brain tumors, heart attacks and Lyme disease. Always good to make life style changes gradually. You can do it if it's important enough to you. Hang in there.

Genuinely thought I was going to die of brain tumour despite ridiculously low odds I'd get them. Never been in so much pain. Especially as they can last for weeks on end. msc 18,534 Posted May 9, 2016 Acid reflex is a right bastard, sympathy, although obviously not as much a bastard as a heart attack. I did much the same recently, shooting pains down the arm and you immediately think "its the heart!" when it turned out to be a pinched nerve. Besides, LB, you need to outlive that brother in law of yours. So you can, I dunno, dance on his grave or whatever.
Lard Bazaar 3,800 Posted May 9, 2016 Aw you guys! You're not a bad bunch of eggs, are you! Re the headache thing, totally get that, I have had terrible one sided headaches for a few years now, and in view of the family history (sister died of a brain tumour in 2011) I was convinced I was going the same way, had scans and all sorts, but can only put it down to muscular/neck/stress type stuff. And yes, msc, I fully intend to spit on that cunt's grave, sooner rather than later hopefully - sadly nearly five years on we still have to put up with his cuntfuckery on a regular basis, which does not help with the stress levels! But enough of that - LIFE IS FOR LIVING, RIGHT! Ok, so it appears I haven't died! I've seen the doctore, and basically the arm pains and chest pains are not related - the arm pains relate to a neck injury, and the chest pains relate to acid reflux due to being a fat cunt! Woohoo!
