Yeah, a stalwart of the, um, glory years. Barely older than me and a perfectly average player, so he’s definitely relatable.

Norwich City legend, and I presume, the popular Deadpooling pick. But there's also a Terry Alcock, still alive.

He was Norwich's player of the year in 1967, the first year this award was awarded, the previous player from an older season to win the award who died was Duncan Forbes, winner in 1970 and died in 2019

Crossley was first with Chris Bart-Williams too.

Terrible shame about both Campbell and Sarkic.

Sad news. Terrific player, although he became something of a journeyman. In later years he was an ebullient and articulate voice for Everton through their various (and continuing) troubles and strife. He'll be sadly missed. RIP.

He also seemed to be speaking about him in the past tense which to be fair for most footballers isn't always a bad sign but might just be in this case.

Hopefully I’m just reading too much into it though and he makes a full recovery.

What’s wrong with Hansen, has he got captain scarlet fever? But seriously, I wish him well, one of our legends.

If he has, there's no need to worry.
