msc 18,445 Posted October 2, 2018 On 03/04/2018 at 04:34, Sir Creep said: Stricken Ajax midfielder Abdelhak Nouri, who suffered serious, lasting brain damage after collapsing during a friendly, has been transferred out of intensive care, and can breathe on his own, the club said Tuesday. "He is no longer in an induced coma and has full respiratory functions," the club said, in a statement issued in the name of Nouri's family. But it added soberly that "his condition further remains unchanged from previous updates and is stable, but with serious and permanent brain damage." Well this is a serious blow to Cancel My Appointments DDP team, but frankly I don't root for death, it will come when it will come, and I'm happy to hear he has had limited progress. That said, I think it's time for a joke: What is an Ajax fan's favourite vegetable? SC Bit of a live update from the commentary on Bayern v Ajax in the Champions League, as one of his friends did a celebration for him. Nouri is apparently "getting better, thankfully" despite having "recently been in a coma".

He is forever brain damaged and probably the mind of a 2 year old. So 'getting better' a relative term I suppose. One of those 'may be best had he departed' kinda deals. But who am I to judge? Leaving him out was less for the Jimmy Glass game because those of us who really cared saw that season as the nail-biting nightmare result of the brainstorms of an idiot chairman. St Jimmy's Day was a let-off we barely deserved and - in any case - little more than a minor reprieve ahead of us falling into non-league in 2004, and more for his part in the better sides of the mid-90's including a championship, another promotion and two runs to Wembley - including our first win there.

Madrid came from behind v Partizan in the 66 European Cup Final to win 2-1, with Serena scoring a peach to win the Cup, through ball on the break, heads it up, chests it down and rams it in from outside the box. https://youtu.be/OKVPhOIgtyw ^^ owner doesn't allow embedding but its only the 3 goals, a minute long or so. msc 18,445 Posted October 17, 2018 Oleg Bazylevych at 80. No English obits, so here's Shakhtar Donetsk's English twitter feed: Managed many Russian and Ukrainian sides, and was Assistant to Lobanovsky when Kiev won the Cup Winners Cup. As USSR co-manager, he failed to qualify for Euro 76. He was manager of Shakhtar Donetsk, CSKA Moscow, and Zorya, all of whom became far more renowned and successful clubs years after he left. He was the 2nd full time manager of the Ukrainian national team, but in his first competitive match, they lost 2-0 at home to Lithuania and he got sacked. Really, Scotland should have signed him in the late 90s, we'd have qualified for something by now with that level of personal bad luck!
