Toast 16,140 Posted May 4, 2020 2 hours ago, Miracle Aligner said: Have people forgotten kindles with amazon prime exist already? I prefer books. They don't run out of battery And you can pass books on to people. I buy most of my books in charity shops (well, usually) and don't keep many now. I either donate them back to charity (local pub has a used-book corner) or give them to friends if I think they'd enjoy them.

I think that the books I am selling are being used to complete or extend peoples collections I am not sure they are always intended for reading but them having time on their hands and bored makes the browsing of ebay and bidding more appealing They are also possible spending the money they might previously spend on eating out, going to the cinema and other entertainments

Can't understand why anyone would do it for books though. They've got words in. Many words.
TQR 14,395 Posted May 7, 2020 Being virus-free for just over a week and only left with fatigue, I started back at work on Tuesday (we’ve some medical parts to machine so I guess we’re key workers), equipped with Lucozade, Metatone/Methadone and bananas. This morning, my legs gave way and I had to be driven home. It seems the legacy of this thing is more than a bit of tiredness. More home time, deep joy. EDIT: Taking another week and a half off. Does the self-employed bloke taking over my duties a favour; more hours for him innit.

Definition of Legacy = legs giving way made me smile because I love word things but overall Quim take care, rest up and hope you are back to your bouncy, brilliant best soonest. See a dentist IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise your root canal will die or worse, get infected. I had one of my teeth chipped last year and I ignored it for ages. A year later, I had like 12 cavities on the right side of my mouth as it was so painful to brush around it. I went to the dentist and got a root canal and my total bill came to 2,600+ pounds. Don't do the typical guy thing and ignore it for ages like what I did. Go see a dentist whenever you can. Firstly they'll put a dental bandage on it and maybe some medicine depending on the sensitivity of the root of the tooth then they'll likely go through with the actual procedure a few weeks after. Stay away from anything too crunchy too.
